Aurora

I watched the bubble with dots dissaper. I knew this was a bad idea. Why can't he just respond. What if he thinks i'm a stalker and blocks my number? I wasn't in his contacts, my number had to be unknow in his phone. I usually block unknown numbers. What if he did the same? If I had gotten a message like the one I sent from an unknown number I would've blocked it immediately. It was weird and creepy in a way.

As I went to lock my phone I was surprised to see the bubble reapper again. I sat up straight waiting for the message. Which came seconds later.

Harry: Who is this?

Aurora: Aurora

Harry: Oh.

Aurora: Yeah, anyways. I need you to do me a favor

Harry: Why should I do you any favors?

I rolled my eyes at the message. He can be so annoying. My thoughts wondered back to the first night we met. How he showed up drunk at my window hours later. I let him stay in my room, sleep on my bed, so basically he owes me. I wasn't going to tell him that, but still.

Aurora: It's important

Harry: What is it?

Aurora: Will you do it?

He didn't reply back as fast as he did before. I anxiously groaned wondering what was taking him so long. Five minutes had passed and still nothing. I was getting ready to give up. Why did he take so long to reply? I'm pretty certain he saw my message. What if he was as annoyed by me as I was by him? I wouldn't reply either honestly. I don't think I would've done him any favors if he had asked. I barely know him. This is for Odyssey.

Harry: Depends on what it is.

It was weird to see a period at the end of a text message. I usually only put periods at the end of my messages when i'm annoyed, upset, or sad. Other then that I text like a normal person. I wasn't quit sure if Harry purposley put periods at the end of this texts or if he was, like I said before, annoyed by me.

Aurora: I need you to come to the airport with Odyssey and I. She needs her car driven back from the airport.

Harry: Why can't you drive it back?

Why was he questioning me so much? All he had to do was say yes or no. What was with the interrogations? I wasn't going to tell him that I didn't have my license. It was embarrassing, and it is not something I tell people.

Aurora: Will you do it or not?

Harry: I guess.

Aurora: You can meet us at my house in an hour

I didn't wait for a reply, not that one was coming, locking my phone right after. Odyssey came back in the room dressed in a long sleeved shirt and the jeans she was wearing yesterday. She dried her hair with the towel, hanging it up shortly after.

"Did you call him?" She asked.

Odyssey came to sit down next to me on the bed. I nodded my head. "I texted him. He should be here in an hour."

"Great thanks. I'm going to get going now. I'll see you later my love." Odyssey grabbed her car keys from the floor before leaving my room. Sighing I looked back at the time. It was almost nine. I couldn't possibly go back to sleep now that I was awake. Letting out yet another sigh I decided to get ready for the long day ahead of me.

I was ready by the time ten o'clock rolled around. I looked out my bedroom window to see Odyssey's car parked on the side of the rode, infront of my house. Parked behind her red car was an all too familiar White Rolls Royce Wraith. I wondered where he had gone. The doorbell never rang. It didn't seem like he was in Odyssey's car.

I made my way downstairs shortly after. My parents were still asleep, which I was very thankful for. I pulled the door open, gasping when Harry fell forward almost landing on me. He stumbled around a bit before regaining his balance. He cleared his throat and flicked his nose with his finger a few times. I had no idea what the gesture ment. I ignored it either way.

Why was he waiting outside in the cold? He could've knocked on the door, or went inside the car with Odyssey. I didn't think long and hard about his actions. I didn't care that much of it. After locking the door to the house, I walked past Harry. I can feel him trailing behind me as I made my way to Odyssey's car.

I pulled open the door of the passengars side, getting in. Harry sat in the back. He sat in the middle of the seat. From the corner of my eyes I watched as he pulled the seatbelt over his body, buckling it. He was all about safety. He didn't strike me as a person who cared much about that kind of stuff. I couldn't necesarily predict, assume, and judge though. I knew nothing about him. Odyssey didn't say anything. She pulled out of the drive way, driving off instead.

The drive to the airport was long and silent. It wasn't the usual awkward, can cut the tension with a knife, kind of silence there usually was in Harry's car. It was somewhat comforting. Neither of us spoke a word. I didn't look back to check on Harry, I had a hunch that he was typing away on his phone as usual. Odyssey was busy focused on the road. I had never seen her this silent before. I didn't like it at all. It was wierd. It wasn't her.

I turned to look at her. She stiffened in her seat. Her eyes moved to me and back to the road a few times before foucsing on the road once again.

"I'm fine Aurora. You don't have to worry about me." She said a short while after.

"I'm still going to worry." I told her. Odyssey let out a sigh. She bit harshly on the bottom of her lip. I could see her eyes beginning to gloss. She blinked multiple times before planting a fake smile on her face.
