Aurora

"Where do you think she is?"

I turned to Harry with an exhausted look. If I knew where Odyssey had gone would I have called him to help me look for her? I was tired, angry and scared. I woke up this morning in Odysseys dorm room and she was gone. She wasn't picking up her phone and she hasn't called me. It's been 18 hours now. I was really starting to worry. Odyssey wouldn't do anything stupid. She knows better.

I clicked her number again pressing the phone to my ear. The phone rang multiple times before going to voicemail for the hundredth time.

"Should I call the police?" I asked Harry. He shrugged. Being the most useless person ever.

"If you think she's really missing I guess you should, but to me it just sounds like she wanted to get away for a while." He did have a point. Why would she leave without telling me though? In the middle of the night at that. I just wished she would answer my calls or text me back at least.

"I guess so." I sighed.

"Alright well, I have to go so, I'll see you." Harry got in his car after that and drove off. I went back into the house, going upstairs to my room.

Two weeks had gone by and still, Odyssey was nowhere to be seen. She hasn't been coming to classes, her dorm room has been completely empty, half her belongings gone. She hasn't called me or answered my texts, calls or voicemails. I knew I had to call someone for help. This was very unusual. I dialed Prometheus number into my phone, bringing my phone to my ear. The phone sounded, being answered on the third ring.

"Hey, Aurora," Prometheus spoke from the other side.

"Odyssey's missing. She's been gone for two weeks now and I'm really worried, I just wanted to let you guys know before I call the police." I told him.

"No don't call the police."

"What, why?"

"She's not missing Aurora, she's grieving. She didn't tell us where she was going, but she'll be back. Don't worry too much okay?" It wasn't okay at all.

"Okay. Thanks for letting me know."

"No problem, you're a good friend Aurora. Watch over her please, when she gets back. She took our dads death harder than any of us."

"I will" I promised him. We ended the call after saying our goodbyes once more. I got off the bed going to sit on the chair at my study table. I needed to stop stressing about Odyssey, who supposedly was not missing at all and study for my exams.

"Aurora come here!" I groaned at the sound of my mother's call. I got up from the chair, leaving the room with a sigh. My mother stood at the bottom of the stairs, holding a spatula in her hand.

"Yes?"

"Harry's birthday is tomorrow," She says as if that should mean something to me. How and when did she even find out when his birthday was. I question my mother's abilities sometimes. She knew too much about Harry, way more than necessary.

"Okay?" I question her confusedly.

"You are going to be with your fiance on his birthday Aurora."

"Why do I have to?" I groaned. She held up the spatula in front of my face and gave me a look of annoyance.

"Because he is your fiancé."

"What am I supposed to do with him all day?" I question annoyedly.

"I don't care what you do as long as you're together. Make sure to wear something decent. I don't want to see you back home until at least eight o'clock. That is all." She waved me away with the spatula before leaving to the kitchen. I stood staring after her for some time before going back to my room.

My phone was ringing as I entered the room. I made my way over to the table retrieving my phone. It was a facetime call. It was Odyssey. I quickly clicked on the green button.

"What the hell Odyssey!"

"I know I know, I'm so sorry Aurora. I'm sorry for leaving without any warning. I'm sorry for not answering your calls or texts. I'm especially sorry for worrying you so much. I just needed to get away for a while. Please understand."

"You didn't have to go through this alone Odyssey, I could've helped you through it all. You could've at least called me."

"And I should've. I'm sorry. I didn't want to burden you honestly. You have to focus on your school work so you can graduate this year."

"So we can graduate. You're graduating with me Odyssey" I told her.

"I honestly doubt it. I've missed so many classes. Too many. I'll just have to graduate next year, but I promise you I will be back in Boston next week."

"Where are you?" I asked her.

"I'm in Oregon, with Odysseus. We needed some time alone. I really hope you can understand and forgive me. You know I love you Aurora, you know I do. I'm so sorry." She turned to the phone to show me, Odysseus, before turning it back to face her.

"Of course I forgive you. I just wished you had taken me with you to Oregon." I sighed.

"I promise you I will take you anywhere you want after graduation."

"I miss you."

"I miss you too my love. I'll be back soon. I promise."
