Neither of us spoke the whole drive to the restaurant. I still had no idea what restaurant we were going to either. I looked out the window as we passed by many buildings, parked and driving cars, buses and people walking. I let out a quiet sigh. I was bored and this silence was killing me. I didn't enjoy it, but I think it's better than dealing with Harry's mood swings. I didn't have the energy for that. My mother sucks all the life out of me. I looked down at my lap. I ran my hands over my thighs taking in the uncomfortable silence.

"You look nice."

The voice surprised me. The comment surprised me even more. Did he just compliment me? I never expected such words to leave his mouth. I sat up on my seat lacing my fingers together.

"Thank you." Was I supposed to comment on his look? I wasn't quite sure if he enjoyed or appreciated compliments. I didn't mind complementing him at all, he cleaned up very nicely. I decided against it, leaving my response at that.

The car came to a stop at the entrance of a garage. Harry rolled down the window on his side to talk to a guy inside the booth. They exchanged a few words before Harry pulled out two twenty dollar bills from his wallet, handing it to the guy. The bar stopping us from moving, started to move up, allowing us through. Harry drove around the parking lot for a while, passing many empty spots before finally settling on one.

I followed him out of the car. We quietly walked down the dark garage before entering the light again. We had walked for some while more. I was beginning to think that he wasn't taking me to a restaurant. I was proven wrong when we turned into a corner, passing by a big window of a fancy restaurant. The entrance of the restaurant had the name Meritage written in big words. The word bar written in even bigger words.

Harry entered the restaurant leaving me behind. I sped quickly behind him, not wanting to be left alone at a place I wasn't familiar with. I squirmed at the stares people walking by were giving us. Harry stopped to talk to the hostess at the entrance.

"Table for two at 6:30." He said lowly.

The lady looked down at her book, her eyes scanning up and down for a few seconds before meeting his eyes again.

"Styles?" She questioned curiously. He nodded once. She looked down at her book once more before nodding.

"There it is. I'll take your jackets and place them in the back." I've never been to a restaurant where they would take your jackets. It was a bit weird. Harry wasn't wearing a jacket. I unzipped mine before pulling it off and handing it to her. She disappeared into the back. We waited patiently until she returned.

"Right this way."

We followed behind her as she lead us around tables throughout the whole restaurant. I took in the elegancy of the place while we walked. The color theme of the restaurant seemed to be red and white in one area. Orange and silver in another. The place was dimly light and the views were outstanding. It must've been expensive.

We stopped at a two-seat table in the back corner of the room. The table was placed next to a window. The view was breathtaking. The water could be seen from up here. There were many boats in the water and many people walking around. I was in awe. I've never seen anything like it.

"Someone will be right with you." The lady said with a smile. She left us alone after that. Harry was already seated. I pulled out the chair taking a seat myself. I took the time to look around at the people. There weren't much people in the area we were at. A few couples and a few tables of four or six were seated around us.

My attention went back to Harry. It didn't surprise me to see him typing away on his phone. Because that's not rude. A guy, the waiter, came over to our table. He placed a bowl filled with an unknown continent in the middle of the table.

"Here are your menus. Take your time."

He walked away right after, going to another table. I grabbed one of the menus, Harry taking the other. I read the menu, flipping through it many times. The food did not look good. Especially for the kind of prices they were selling it at. I flipped through the pages once more before settling on the Scallops. That was the only decent looking thing on the menus. Besides the ribs and lobster. I would've preferred either one, but I got very messy when eating both. I did not want to get messy.

I picked at the bowl the guy had placed on the table, wanting to taste the food inside. I guess this was supposed to be the appetizers. It was some type of cream followed bread. It wasn't bad at all.

"It's a beautiful view," I said. I couldn't take the silence any longer. If my mother knew we were both sitting here not talking at all she would have a fit. I was bothered by this also. Especially with him being on his phone. I get that he wasn't necessarily the one who planned this night, but the least he could do was put away his phone and acknowledge me.

"Yeah" he didn't look up from his phone. Not even for a second. I wondered what the hell he was doing. He seemed to be typing a whole lot. I stood up from the seat, grabbing my clutch with me. Harry finally looked up from his phone, giving me a confused look.

"Where are you going?"

"To the restrooms. I'll be back." I made my way around the tables, apologizing to a few people along the way until I finally reached the restrooms. I pushed the door open, entering it. I stood in front of the mirror looking at my reflection. I let out a sigh, running my hands over my face. Why can't this night just end already? I was miserable. There was no doubt that Harry wasn't either. I retrieved my phone from my clutch. I opened the message from Odyssey that was sent two hours ago.

Odyssey: Oh my loveeeee. You look so beautiful. This is my new lock screen.

I smiled. That was her response to the picture I had sent her. Odyssey never failed to make me smile. Even when I was having a bad day. I love that girl so much. I sent her back a quick reply.

Aurora: Thank you babe. How's your date going?

I waited a few minutes for a reply. One never came. It was odd. Odyssey usually replied to my messages within seconds, even if she was in the middle of doing that. I put my phone away, not thinking much of it. I left the bathroom making my way back to the table.
