Aurora

Harry left that night refusing to talk about Priscilla. Not until I told him the back story of the ring. I wasn't ready for that. I told him once a long time ago, when we met that I wasn't ready to share my story with him. I know the time will come eventually, but for now it'll remain private.

I did want to know about Priscilla. Harry not wanting to tell me until I told him just proved that she was real and that there was something to tell. She is somebody in his life that he doesn't seem to be letting go of anytime soon. I can't compete with that. I refuse to compete with that. I have to find a way out. No matter what the obstacles or the consequences.

The beautician came up to us, carrying her needed supplies "What kind of manicure, pedicure will you two be getting today?"

"A spa mani pedi." Harry nodded in agreement. The lady walked away, saying she'll be back in a few minutes. I laid back on the massage chair, making myself comfortable. A spa day was exactly what I needed. I could do without the company, but he insisted on tagging along since Odyssey wasn't able to.

The lady came back getting started on our feet and hands. Harry leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath in and out. He looked relaxed. After the mani pedi, the hair dresser was going to take care of our hair situation and after that we are going to the esthetician upstairs to get a facial and hair removal. Spa day was my favorite. I haven't been to one in quite a while. It relaxed me. I needed relaxation after dealing with my mother everyday.

Somehow Harry and I got separated during the hair process. I searched around the salon trying to find him but to no avail. The beautician was currently busy coloring my hair after trimming it to make the golden brown more bold. The more hours passed by the more I grew worried about Harry. By the time it was time for us to head upstairs to the esthetician I was on full panic mode. He wouldn't ditch me. He was the one who insisted on tagging along after all.

Three hours later my spa day was over. I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I hoped I would, but it was still a success. I went downstairs, waiting for Harry at the front door, praying he showed up eventually since he was my ride back. I sat patiently, or so I thought I did. After what felt like even more hours I saw Harry walking up to me from a distance. I sat up in my chair as he got closer.

The closer he got the more different he appeared. I stood up once he was in front of me. My eyes scanned his face. "You cut off your hair." Harry's long locks were no longer visible. His hair was much shorter now, barley passing his ears. Although I loved the long hair look on him, he looked even more handsome with shorter hair.

He shrugged his shoulder, bringing his hand up to his hair and running his fingers through it, "It was time for a change"

"I like it."

Harry thanked me briefly. We left the salon, getting into his car. He drove out of the parking lot and onto the road. Today wasn't a total bust I suppose.

"Can I see the wedding dress?" Harry asked the same question he asked once before; to see the dress, but I never got around to it. I told him yes. He turned the car around, heading in the direction of Odyssey's apartment where the dress was staying. I did not want my mother getting a hold of it. Who knows what she's capable of doing.

Odyssey wasn't home when we got there, but I had a spare key. I told Harry to wait in the living room as I went in Odyssey's bedroom to retrieve the dress. I opened the closet door, grabbing the black garment bag that the dress was in. I laid it down on the bed, unzipping the garment bag to take the dress out. I stripped out of my clothes, picked up the dress and put it on.

I tied my hair up before leaving the bedroom to show Harry. He was sitting on the couch with his back facing me.

"How does it look?" He turned around at the sound of my voice. Harry's expression was the one I was hoping for. His eyes went wide and his lips formed into a smile. He stood up, walking over to me.

"You look absolutely beautiful. The dress as well."

"Thank you."

"Wait here." Harry left the house soon after. I looked down at the dress, running my hands over it a few times. It was even more beautiful than the first time I saw it. I twirled around, the dress flowing effortlessly. When Harry came back I was expecting what I did. He was now dressed in a glittery light blue suit with a hint of pink crystal trimmings along the seams.

"What do you think of the suit?" It was better than I have ever imagined. It also fit in perfectly with the wedding theme.

Harry walked up to me, "I have it in pink as well if you prefer the pink."

I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him down towards me to kiss him, "I love it."

He smiled against my lips, I did the same. He kissed me once more before twirling me around. My smile grew wider, laughter leaving my mouth as Harry continued to spin me around.

We stopped spinning after I started to feel light headed. We stood in the middle of Odyssey living room, resting in each others arms. I placed my head against his chest with my eyes closed, listening to the sound of his heart beating. It was a beautiful sound I wished I could listen to for the rest of my life. Harry held me tightly against his body. It made me feel secure. All my worries were gone in that moment.

Once we leave this place things would be going back to the way they were, but I didn't want to go back. I wanted this to last forever. I have always wanted the impossible.
