Chapter 65 - Scars and Burnt Marks

Meanwhile, Todoroki is wincing in pain while clutching his eyes. He was screaming and cursing so loud that Dabi and Endeavor can't help but stare at the teenager. Todoroki retracted his hands away from his eyes and his vision slightly began to blur. The pain in unbearable and feels so stingy. He shot his eyes towards Endeavor with a heavy glare which made the two older flame users' eyes wide.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?"

The skin around both of his eyes are burnt. His eyes barely open that he looks so menacing with a glance. The tip of his hair are also slightly burned as ice slowly creeps up to his face. Endeavor and Dabi just stood there in utter shock. This was a result of their flames. Dabi and Endeavor's flames met each other and fought for which is more powerful, until it went crazy and out of control that their flames headed towards the youngest of the three, accidentally burning his face.

"Shoto, stay calm," Dabi tried to calm him down with his monotone voice, but deep inside, he is somehow shaken. He'd saw Todoroki throw tantrums, but most of it are childish and brought by his unstable mental state, but somehow, this one is different.  He's genuinely mad at something, or someone.

"I decided one thing!" Todoroki shouted, glaring hard at the two, ice finally acting as a mask for him. The green flames that enveloped his body earlier slowly change into blue and grow wilder and wilder by the minute, "Dabi, stay out of this one. I don't care anymore! I'm gonna beat my old man and show him what kind of monster he had created!"

"Shoto, I know my past mistakes have affected you and your siblings greatly, especially you. But--"

"You're one dumb guy if you think I'll be forgiving you that easily!" he screamed and his whole body burst into flames and directed them to Endeavor who were surprised. He regained from his shock and instantly jumped away from the strong assault and his eyes widened. The ground that where he once stood is now burnt to crisp. If that had hit him, he would've probably suffered a rather badly.

"You've grown strong too," Endeavor commented, staring at the spot. Todoroki  clicked his tongue and stomped his feet, creating large glaciers that towered all three of them.

"No thanks to you!" he then continued making ice everywhere until he made one large labyrinth. It separated them, but Todoroki knows where both Endeavor and Dabi are right now.

Meanwhile, at Endeavor, he tried melting his way out, but he didn't expect the ice to be too thick. If not, too strong to melt. He then decided to walk around the labyrinth to find his target. He's surprised at how strong his son had grown for just a past few months, but it greatly saddened him to see him in that state. He regretted his actions in the past. The cruelness and pressure he had brought all four of his children. Especially Todoroki Shoto.

He just wished he still can redo everything.

"It's time to go home~" he heard his son sang slowly, somewhere around the corner, "It's time to go home~"

Endeavor tried following the sound but the ice closed up from above, covering the ice labyrinth, "It's time to say goodbye~"

"Show yourself, Shoto!" Endeavor ordered in a rather authoritarian tone and a shadow casts above, indicating that Shoto is above him.

"I had so much fun~ And you had so much fun~ We all had so much fun~ It's time to say..."

The ice broke and Todoroki landed in front of his father with a twisted grin on his face, "Goodbye!"

He swiftly threw a strong amount of fire his way and Endeavor had no choice but to shield himself. Todoroki used this as a chance to freeze him and he made sure it is thick and secured him nicely. Once the flames disappeared, Endeavor is unable to move and his eyes widened to see the close gap between his face and his son's. Grinning widely, Todoroki shot blue fire into his face, concentrated it and jumped away.

The flames burned Endeavor's face, but it was just the right crisp. He was still able to open his eyes. Todoroki then freeze him up, entirely. 

It all happened so fast, that Endeavor did not saw it coming.  Todoroki also improved in terms of speed. Given the properties of Todoroki's ice, he'll be having a hard time melting it.

"I did not just improved my fire quirk, old man. My ice part is not left unwanted. Besides, I still like mom more that I hate you. And that's saying something. My ice quirk is now as strong as steel. Like the ice that envelopes Pluto. Even an odd one can be so useful," he said, and started stood a little farther away from the ice statue of Endeavor.

"I don't know why people say when you're trapped in ice, you can survive and all that. I can't understand how nonfunctional body organs can work under frozen condition so I think you wouldn't last," he added but held out two blades from inside his clothings, "But to be sure, I'm not risking the possibility for you to survive. I'm gonna kill you right now."

He jumped towards the ice statue and swung the blades, cutting the ice, and also Endeavor, in half.

"See you again~" with that, he finished his song.

Meanwhile, Akuma managed to temporarily blind Aizawa so he won't get in the way of him using his newfound quirk. Blood flows out of Aizawa's eyes and he desperately clutches them.

"Aww...so sad, Shiota-sensei. But don't worry, temporay blindness normally take about thirty minutes," he said, black tentacle-like object appearing from his arms. He can't control it quiet well yet so he let it wreck havoc on his surroundings, not caring a single time, "Hey, All Might. Other quirks starts to appear and this one is supposedly called Blackwhip. I suppose you know about it?"

All Might didn't respond but his expression looks concerned and almost fearful. Akuma picked up on it.

"Hmm, seems you don't. Oh well, a former user, the bald guy, said I should get along with Deku to be able to grasp this quirk, but I like it more without interference. That pest will just get in my way," he said while admiring the black substance.

"Whoever said that is wise, and I agree with him. You must stop this instance. One for All is not made to be used for evil," All Might said, and was hesitant to transform into his muscle form. He can't even use it for least than five minutes and he can't fight his own student. He is stuck on the wall at the moment.

"Yes, I know the sob story, All Might. I'm quite shocked you didn't seem surprise to know that I seemingly have another personality," he said, a wicked smile on his face, "But then again, Deku and Ochako leave the HQ to come here to spread the League's secret. I won't be surprised anymore if you seem to know more."

"You said your name is Akuma."

"Yes! Finally who gets my name right!" he cheered, spreading his arms around. He smiled and sat back down on the bench. He looked around him and saw that they're the only ones here. With Aizawa blind, he can't stop his quirk and will be needing help to get away and fight. So no hope for him. Recovery Girl already took her leave and All Might is here.

"Well, now that you're here, let's get to the agenda of this meeting," he said and crossed his legs, smiling at All Might. He doesn't mind if Aizawa is also listening. Like people said, the more, the merrier, "I surrender, Heroes."
