okay no offense but i've been getting a lot of comments lately that just have been getting a little under my skin. they're either about things i've changed in my story that aren't like the exact scenes from the show, or details about the characters, or how my book 'doesn't exactly follow with the show' and just annoying little things like that. people need to understand that this is a fanfiction, my own story and spin of 'on my block' if i change a character's age by a couple of years to fit the story better. who cares? people would still complain if oscar was his actual age and ximena was in high school. if i change a scene from it's exact wording than in the show to go with my book better who cares. i get people are entitled to their opinions and i don't mind criticism but i get about 3-4 comments almost every day about these things and it just takes the fun out of writing this book sometimes. it's already really hard to stay exactly with the show and still find my own way to be creative when i have to copy and paste dialogues in some chapters but when i do write my own words and put in creativity, it goes against the show?
