seventeen.

"Hurry up Nymphadora!" I shouted, pulling on my black boots and grabbing my essentials for the train journey. Nymphadora was hurrying around checking I had everything, including Lucifer.

"Don't call me that!" She fumed, her hair teasing a maroon as she shoved my kitten into my hands and hurried me along outside to catch a very muggle travelling service. The taxi driver had a smug face, eyeing up my kitten and broom as I packed my belongings into the boot of his car.

Tonks quickly jumped into the back of the cab, with me joining beside her and the taxi quickly sped off amongst the busy London streets towards the train station. It wasn't long before we made our way through the brick wall and onto Platform 9 3/4. The train itself and platform was already packed with students and parents alike. I could see a glimpse of Draco's slicked back bleached hair and could already tell how much he had grown. Normally I'd take this time to find the twins, both sets, however I couldn't see anyone I knew anywhere.

"You'll be alright won't you?" Tonks asked with a concerned look in her ever changing eyes.

"Of course I will." I replied in an obvious manor but Tonks' serious look stayed pinned to her face.

"I just worry about you is all," She smiled wearily, pulling me into a hug, "You be good this year okay? Be safe and kick butt as usual."

I smiled politely at her, kissing her cheek quickly and going to find myself a seat on the train whilst I could.

After a while I found a clutter of boys in my year all whispering about Quidditch and other school rumours.

"Oi, have any of you seen Holland and Lydia?" I asked the group who shushed quite quickly.

"So which twin you after then?" One of the boys asked with a smirk upon his ugly lips. A Slytherin. I didn't know his name.

"I told you I'm after them both, do you know where they-"

"No. I meant Fred and George? Which one do you fancy? Or is it Oliver you're after?" He asked chuckling as if it was the funniest thing he'd ever said. The rest of the boys didn't say a thing and I smiled.

"Listen you ugly little rodent," I started, dropping my bags I was holding and making sure Lucifer was steady on my shoulder, "You will stop talking down to me like that because if you don't I will skin you alive and feed you to the Kelpies in the lake." I smiled, facing up to the toad faced asshole. "I haven't even been on the train two minutes and I've already threatened to kill someone." I sighed quietly to myself and walked away from the clutter of useless boys giggling.

Not long after I had found Robin and Tyler huddled in one carriage of the train.

"Alright?" I nodded at them in more of a cockney accent than my usual posh tone, frowning in a confused way at the two giggling from behind me.

"Hiiiii..." They both synchronised in a sing song sort of way. I sat down slowly eyeing them both suspiciously as they giggled away with each other.

"Waaait," I started, "Are you two?..." I waited silently hoping they got the point of my question. They both nodded enthusiastically and I smiled saying that I'm glad it FINALLY happened. It was cute at first. Then it was just plain annoying. They wouldn't stop giggling like three year olds so I decided to take a walk amongst the train.

I took this as an opportunity to tell Marcus about how brilliant Draco would be for our team as a seeker and went to go find him. Once I found the boys with their carriage door wide open doing impressions of Snape I laughed to myself, taking a moment to appreciate what I was witnessing. What I was witnessing was Marcus Flint strutting on his tiptoes pretending he had a long coat and hair to flip.
