~

The next day when I finally awoke from what little slumber I had the girls were already rushing round getting dressed for the day. I slowly shifted myself out of bed and looked towards the window where I could see my cat, Tobias, or Toby for short, sitting curled up on the window ledge. I shuffled towards the window and delicately picked up the little patchy grey animal and rested him on my bed to sleep.

I realised that I had forgotten to write to Tonks and decided that the weekend would be a better time to write to her, it would give me time to do my homework plus I'd have more to write about. I quickly got dressed into my school robes and hurried down stairs, glancing back to Toby who had seemed to have disappeared. I didn't think anything of it, he usually did that. I checked I had my time-turner on and walking down towards The Great Hall for breakfast.

On my way there I saw a small group of people gathering around something. Or someone. From were I was standing they were first years and it looked as if Peeves was tormenting them. There was a boy lying on the floor, Peeves pulling at his hair from above, cackling loudly and around him stood three other boys and a girl. I knew who they all were. I hurried over to the commotion, quite angry no others were running over either.

"Peeves!" I almost shouted gaining the chaotic spirits attention, "Leave the poor boy alone, you oaf!"

"Why would I listen to you!" Peeves replied in disgust, sticking his tongue out.

"We've tried everything to get him to leave it just wont work." The small pretty girl next to me complained. I didn't know her name. I looked down at the chubby boy being tormented. Neville. The three boys stood around him, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley (I only knew him because Fred and George always tell everyone about their family) and...Draco?

Draco was cackling just as loud as Peeves was, he was enjoying watching Neville being tormented. I smacked him across the head and gave him a warning look, he shut up immediately.

"Peeves stop being such a bully or I will go and tell The Bloody Barron! I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be happy to hear about this," I started, watching the grin from Peeves' pale face slip away as I spoke, "Honestly Peeves, you call yourself a prankster, you should go get some more tips from Fred and George if you're being forced to do something like this for laughs. And that goes for you as well Draco." I finished, watching Draco look panicked towards the floor. Peeves took off fast, stuttering about upping his game.

"You ok Neville?" I asked, sticking my hand out for him to take. He took it wearily, standing up and brushing himself off.

"T-thanks." He stuttered out.

"Don't worry about Peeves. He is just a pale old fool. Got nothing else to do but pick on people really. Good for nothing ghost...Actually I'm lying, if you ever get into trouble just blame it on Peeves, he lets you and everything. Don't know how I'd of made it to fifth year without him actually." I smiled at Neville and he smiled back. I felt so bad, guilty. The feeling had no right to wash over me, I had done no wrong, but I still felt it and it was awful.

"You know Fred and George?" Ron asked, rather excitedly.

"Why yes I do, I have been victim to many of their pranks. And partook in some of them too. They're very good at what they do I must say." I smiled at him, "I'm Lucia by the way." I turned to them all. "I take it you've met my cousin, Draco."
