nineteen.
During the week I learnt a lot about Theo, so much that I automatically thought it was necessary for me to let Tonks know all about him. He smoked which I thought was pretty unhealthy but he looked kinda hot. He was in a band which I wasn't surprised by. They were called "Fall Silent" which I thought was quite ironic due to the fact they were supposed to be a rock'n'roll band. I new he was muggle-born and that he was able to be sweet and intelligent and still be a little bit bad.
It was 5am when I awoke from sleeping due to a certain kitten pawing at my face. I assumed Lucifer was hungry and got up to feed my tiny fluff of a friend when I received some letters. The shortest one was from Marcus telling me all about how Draco was surely on the team after his father had sent the team Nimbus 2001's and that training would begin after breakfast. Another was from Nymphadora. There was a big parcel attached with letters to Fred and George and me. I assumed they were sweets.
As Lucifer happily nibbled away at his breakfast, I gathered my Quidditch gear and Green robes for warmth and was out the door quicker than a snitch. My hair fluttered neatly behind me, perfectly straight and bleach blonde just because I was proud of my younger cousin. I new for a fact Gryffindor were practising at this point and I could feel the rivalry already starting to build up within me.
The birds were particularly noisy today and I sighed as I realised after Quidditch I had another full day of school to actually attend to. I just hoped the new Defence Against The Dark Arts teacher was as good as he claimed to be. Which I highly doubted.
As I exited the dungeons and began my way towards the pitch with an apple, a nervous little first year ran into me introducing himself as Colin and insisting on asking me questions about how being in Slytherin was like for me.
"You're adorable!" I almost shouted as he flashed his fancy looking camera in my face, "For me, I'm proud to be Slytherin, even though I do possess some qualities from other houses. Plus, green is my favourite colour." I laughed. Walking away before the excited little boy could ask me any more pointless questions. I decided on telling him that houses don't mean a thing to me which seemed to fasinate him as he hurried past me mumbling something about Harry Potter. I didn't care if I was late for Quidditch, they wouldn't say a thing to me anyway.
Just as usual I was waiting on my team mates, sitting high in the stands of the Quidditch pitch, enjoying the breeze for a while. Instead of sitting doing anything I put away my broom safely and decided on running laps around the pitch as a self taught warm-up. It was all too soon interupted by none other than the Gryffindor team however. They did not seem to notice me, not even Oliver who seemed as though if he added anymore energy or sugar into his body he might explode.
As usual Wood seemed to drone on and on about something written on a board which I assumed was tactics. At one point, Fred and George had spotted me, waving a little instead of listening which Oliver had not liked. It seemed as though I had most deffinetly awoken way too early for the rest of my team to keep up with. The Gryffindors werent even changed yet and I was breaking a sweat.
Whilst the team went off to change I spotted Hermione and Ron sitting in the stands. I waved at them, doing a little jog towards them to say hello. The Gryffindor team were soon hot on their heals back to us and I ducked behind the stands waiting for the oppertunity to scare someone.
The moment finally arose when the team confronted Hermione and Ron and noticed Colin clicking hundreds of pictures a second of Harry. What a fanboy.
"What's going on?" Oliver stated obviously confused by Colin's presence. At this point he was directly in front of me, his back turned the opposite way towards Colin, "Why's that first year taking pictures? I don't like it. He could be a Slytherin spy, trying to find out about our new training programme."
