I felt ashamed when we failed on our first attempt of catching that old man. Disappointed with the result. And yesterday, we just failed again. We were badly injured and beaten to death. We even faced a spine-chilling creature we never knew we'd see in our lifetime, a hellhound. A freaking huge black dog. I had a nightmare about it. Well, it almost got me if it weren't because of Stone saving the day. Now, this feels like my second life. No, just kidding.
About Greg, he prepared an escape plan. He wasn't alone inside his house yesterday. He was with someone who can teleport but before leaving, they incapacitated Law and Kirsten and left a message; your stupidity will only get you killed. You can't stop them. Emphasis on the word them. He meant, their Highnesses.
After talking about it yesterday, I went straight to my room and spent the rest of the day sleeping. I felt drained after the hellhound almost got my soul eaten. Going to Underworld has never been a part of my bucket list, or at least, not this young yet.
Both Law and Kirsten felt sorry for what happened. Muntik na raw kasi kaming mamatay para lang mabigyan sila ng oras sa paghuli kay Greg pero hindi pa rin daw nila nagawa. We told them not to worry about it. We are alive and that's what important.
I sheathed my sword and left my room. Ngayon na lang ulit ako kukuha ng supplies.
"Okay lang ba kung sasama kami?"
Hinarap ko si Kirsten na nakatayo habang nakatingin sa'kin. Tumayo rin si Stone at Law. Sila na naman?
"If you want to be caught, sure, tag along." Kinuha ko ang mga punyal ko sa mesa at inayos ang mga 'yon sa sapatos ko. Nakita ko sa gilid ng mata ko na kinuha rin nila ang mga armas nila.

Naglakad na ako palabas at sumunod sila. "No, stay here," I told them.
"Hindi kami mahuhuli," saad ni Stone saka tumabi sa'kin. Napaikot na lang ang mata ko nang makita ang mga itim na buhok at mata nila.
"Ang daya niyo! Sama ako!" sigaw ni Yva habang nakatayo sa pintuan.
"Kaya hindi ka kinakausap niyan ni Wind kasi nalaman niyang interesado ka kay Reece!" sigaw pabalik ni Kirsten. Dali-dali itong bumalik sa loob at nagtawanan naman ang mga kasama ko.
"Bakit ba siya interesado sa kumag na 'yon?" tanong ko.
"Do you really hate him that much kaya hindi mo nakikita? O sanay ka na?" saad ni Kirsten. Naguguluhan ko siyang nilingon. "He has sharp jaw lines at matangos ang ilong. Tapos 'yong kilay niya, makapal at ang ganda ng korte. Malamig ang mga mata. Saka makapal at mahaba 'yong pilikmata niya. Namumula rin 'yong labi. Tapos ang tangkad at ang ganda ng postura. Nakita mo na ba s---"
"Bakit pati ata ikaw, interesado ro'n?" pagputol ni Law sa sinasabi nito.
