Dedicated to: willowmoonblood because this was her awesome idea! :)

I hated catching trains.

"Come on we have a schedule to keep!" The conductor said motioning for me to get aboard.

I sighed reluctantly and boarded the train and made my way to the very back of the train which I considered a safe haven away from all the annoying people snoring or chattering towards the front.

I sat down and mentally prepared myself of a very long day of work serving food to obnoxious folks who had no problem screaming profanities at you for a simple mistake in their order.

"Hey." A voice said sitting down next to me.

I had to stop my smile.

"Good Morning Marshall." I said turning to face him.

"You seem to be in a good mood." He teased.

"Why wouldn't I be? Another morning of "Ms. Go fetch me another drink" to look forward too." I sighed.

"How about I come by later then?" He suggested.

"Do you have a death wish? I live on the east side our greeting sign even says "Enter at your own risk" I could just come to your place." I figured.

"I work on the east side." He reminded.

"And that's worse enough." I sighed. "Marshall, despite how much you piss me off at times, I don't want you to get killed." I said.

He chuckled making me look over at him oddly, "What?" I said.

"Come with me." He said holding out his hand for me to take.

"Where are we going?" I asked as we both stood up and we began walking  to the door of the next cart train.

"Just come on." He urged.

I reluctantly followed as he opened the door and we stepped into the very end of the trains rear. The wind blowing made it hard to hear but even I had to admit the view was amazing. The sun always seemed to be shining bright  and never seemed to set whenever I boarded  the train in the morning..and from here I could see it quite clearly.

"What are we doing out here!?" I yelled.

He yelled something back but it was way to hard to hear over the wind and the train's whistle blowing simultaneously at the same time.

"What!?" I yelled back.

I saw a smirk form on his face and for as long as I've known him I knew that was never a good sign. It definitely meant he was up to something.

"Marshall what are you-"

I was cut off by his lips placing themselves onto my own and his arms winding them selves around my waist. His lips were warm and his kiss was slow and I was completely taken aback.

I felt the train begin to slow down and his lips slowly parted from mine. My mind was left in a haze and I soon realized I was only standing up due to him holding me up. I gathered my thoughts and my smile appeared but I quickly masked it and tried to put on my best pissed off face.

"Why did you do that?" I questioned.

"You didn't say no." He shrugged.

"Huh?" I asked confused wondering what he was talking about.

"I asked could I kiss you and you didn't say no." He smirked.

I realized that must've been what he had asked when the wind was howling over us and the train was singing it's annual choo choo song.

". . .That's cause I couldn't hear you!" I snapped.

"Oh...Oh well." He shrugged simply.

"You ass." I frowned.

He laughed as the train stopped and we both made it to our destinations for the day.

"Do you normally kiss girls on trains?" I asked as we both began to exit.

"Just the beautiful ones that live on the east side." He said shooting me one of his famous million dollar smiles.

"Go home idiot." I laughed.

"See you later." He said shooting me the peace sign as he began walking home, and I headed for another day of work.

-Present Day-

"So how did you two meet?" One of Marshall's stage workers asked as we boarded this train in order to reach Marshall's next concert venue that wasn't too far from the hotel.

I looked at Marshall as he held my hand giving it a gentle squeeze and another one of those smirks of his.

"He used to meet me on the east side." I said.

"In the city where the sun don't set." He finished.
