You and Marshall were laying on the couch flipping through a bunch of channels because neither of you could agree of what you wanted to watch. So you basically were just laying there consumed in your own thoughts wondering when you guys were going to be able to go back to a normal functioning society.

Every since the Corona hit, the two of you had been stuck in the house with each other, which started off kind of fun because you both wanted more time to spend with each other, Marshall was always so busy with his music, or filming videos, or doing interviews it felt like you two hardly ever saw each other. So when you both got stuck inside with the new stay at home order, the two of you saw this as a opportunity to hang out more.

You both were constantly learning new things about each other, and you both were genuinely happy getting to know each other a lot better than you already thought you did.

You turned to Marshall seeing that he had stopped flipping the channels and was staring directly at you.

You raised a eyebrow in confusion wondering why he was looking at you.

"Something on my face?" You asked laughing at him.

He snapped out his gaze and cleared his throat, "Sorry, I was just thinking that staring at you might be better than anything that was on TV." He said shooting a smooth recovery as to why he was caught staring.

"Smooth." You laughed poking him in the stomach with your foot.

He laughed along but suddenly he got serious and you were slightly nervous, You never knew what Marshall was thinking, his mind was like one giant Rubik's cube, and what he was thinking was never really clear. But that's one of things you really loved about him, the way he was able to keep you on your toes, keep you guessing, keep you wondering what he was thinking it was like a new challenge everyday. And you for one loved challenges.

So while you were trying to decode his mind he just scratched the back of his neck awkwardly while continuing to look at you.

"Nah, I was just thinking i'm really glad i'm stuck here with you." He said honestly almost as if it was a confession he wasn't expecting either.

Your eyes lit up at that, and you could instantly feel your heart beat quicken and you just inwardly  laughed that even after dating him for years, he still had that kind of effect on you. He was way more than a high school crush.

"Funny, I was actually thinking the same thing." You admitted.

"Really?" He asked laughing astonishingly, which made you smile, you loved when he laughed, he had a really good one.

"Yeah I mean, we often don't get a lot of time with each other, So the time we got now is like way over due right?" You said looking at him for reassuringly which was quickly validated when he returned your foot poke with  a foot poke of his own, only poking you in the thigh instead.

"It's just i'm 47..And I really didn't think i'd ever really get back into dating, but the past few years i've been dating you has been completely amazing, your constantly in my mind when I make my decisions now, like when I go on tour, I always wanna know how long i'm gonna  be away from you, or when i'm in interviews and they ask questions about you, I constantly get nervous i'm gonna say something that's gonna end up in the tabloids, and it's just..damn I really love you." He ended looking at you with a hopeless look of surrender.

You smiled, "I love you too." You said.

"And like I don't wanna ruin it, that's the one thing i'm scared of, when this pandemic ends, is everything gonna change?" He says seemingly really stressed about this topic, and you wondered how long he been thinking about it.

You shook your head, "I'm not worried about it, because this type of love doesn't always come and go." You said happily.

He shot you one of his million dollar smiles, and looked back towards the TV continuing to chanel surf, and you both knew no matter what happened you two were always gonna stay this connected.
