"So are you gonna call your mom?" You asked him as you both sat at this old empty football arena that had a spectacular view of open skies and fluffy clouds.
"Should I?" He asked turning to you.
"I would..but that's just me.." You shrugged.
Marshall's mom had just attended Nathan's wedding a week ago and they never really got a chance to talk in private and I could tell it was weighing on his mind a bit. So you figured why not give her a call since it's mother's day.
"Where's your kid's at, they doing anything for you today?" He asked you changing subject.
"Eh, if they are I don't know about it, but they did wish me a happy mother's day and sent me some flower's and a beautiful basket full of chocolate..it was like entering heaven when I saw it.." You confessed.

Marshall snorted a bit while shaking his head always amazed at just how much you adored chocolate.
"Anyway as fun as sitting in an empty arena is, I gotta go, I have a meeting later on this evening." Marshall announced standing up off the bench with me taking his lead.
"Alright." I said as we began walking back to his truck.
We finally made it to the truck and we both hopped in and began driving to which you thought it was going to be your house cause you thought he was taking you home, until he pulled into this flower shop all of a sudden catching you off guard.
"Why are we here?" You asked shooting him a puzzled look.
"I'll be right back." He said getting out the car and running into the shop only to come out about 7 minutes later with some beautiful flowers.
"Flowers?" You questioned.
"Yup these are for you, Happy Mother's day." He said handing me one of the bouquets.
"Aww your the sweetest friend a girl could ever ask for!!" You gushed giving the man a kiss on the cheek.
