When it came to life you always were a bit naive and clueless to the clear things that were happening around you.
But it wasn't your fault, this started all the way back in elementary school when you really believed that the most popular boy in the 4th grade was really going to share his lunch with you and give you a free push on the swings at recess.
Your obliviousness didn't stop there, because for some reason you really thought that you had gotten tickets into your favorite singer's concert by buying tickets from your local neighborhood salesman named Frank Walker, I mean his name literally had shady written all over it and yet you still didn't think of it until you were denied access into the concert.
I guess they didn't call him "Walker" for nothing, cause he had just walked away with your hard earned money.
But honestly, through out all your cluelessness and complete obliviousness to everything around you you could honestly say that nothing could've prepared you for this.

You were currently at your fiance's Marshall's house just relaxing in the backyard on one of his lawn chairs by the pool all the while trying to read this good book that you had gotten hooked on and just needed to know the ending.
The weather was so nice and you were so glad to finally get a break from all the wedding planning that you and your mother, sister and some friends had been doing for months and months on end with each day passing giving you even more anxiety to how all this was gonna turn out.
You loved him so much and you couldn't be happier then to have the name Mrs. Mather's, but everything still felt so unreal at the moment.
You were about to flip to the next page when you felt a presence sit down next to you on the other pool side chair, so you bookmarked your page and turned to see that it was your soon to be Brother in law.
Nathan.
"Nate hey." You smiled putting the book down while shifting to face the man who was only in his swim shorts and sun glasses.
"Hey, you out here by yourself?" He asked you his face facing only towards the pool at the moment.
"Yeah, just getting a break from wedding plans." You admitted while watching Nate nod his head.
"Yeah stressful stuff ain't it?" He asked.
"Of course but, it's gonna be amazing, i'm finally taking on the Mather's name, it's just amazing that i'm finally going to be a part of your family." You smiled really taking the moment to let it all sink in.
You were gonna be a Mathers.
"I remember when me and Lindsey were talking about our wedding plans.." He reminisced.
You frowned remembering the fall out that Nate and Lindsey had just 3 months ago, right before their wedding Lindsey got cold feet and left him the day before the wedding with the only apology given was a stupid letter written on a napkin.
You had never seen Nate so crushed and deflated before and honestly it really hurt you to see someone you practically helped raise when he was younger look like his life was completely through.
Every since then you and Marshall both have been trying to keep Nate close, just to make sure he was coping okay with his broken engagement.
"Nate you are such an amazing man, any woman would be lucky to have you.." You encouraged watching his head turn towards you, and even though you couldn't see his eyes through the dark shades that blocked them, you had a feeling he was shooting you a puzzling stare.
