This isn't how you pictured your wedding to go, but this was the situation at hand nonetheless.

You were currently boxed in a room with a thick sheet of glass separating you from Marshall as you stood there dressed in a wedding dress with a protective mask on. This was the date the two of you had picked out, and you weren't planning on cancelling it for nothing, you had planned so much and spent so much time and energy into this wedding, and you were determined to marry this man.

Even if you did have the Corona Virus.

Yup that's right, you had managed to get the corona virus after flying from Italy to pick up your wedding dress that you absolutely adored.

You hadn't felt ill until after about a week when you suddenly started coughing and immediately developed a high fever that had you putting on numerous hoodies and blankets just to stay warm

You hadn't felt ill until after about a week when you suddenly started coughing and immediately developed a high fever that had you putting on numerous hoodies and blankets just to stay warm. You were watching the news and saw all the developments with how the Corona virus had spread through Italy and you decided that you should immediately get tested.

Which you did, and of course it just had to come back positive a day before your wedding.

So now here you were at a hospital separated from everyone as you were determined to go through with this wedding.

You figured if you might not die, at least you'd die married to the man you were in love with.

You couldn't exactly hear past the glass that separated you and him, but you had a notebook and a pen and conveyed all your messages through that.

He wrote a message on the paper and held it up to the glass and you read it.

Marshall: Babe maybe we should wait until you feel better.

You quickly wrote back and pressed the notebook up to the glass sending him a deep frown as you did so.

You: NO we're doing this!

Marshall sighed and nodded, the ordained minister was standing right behind him which happened to be the doctor in charge of looking over you, he heard your wedding dilemma and offered to marry the two of you.

"The two of you ready?" The doctor asks Marshall.

Marshall looks at you dressed in your wedding dress, your hair and makeup all did up with the face mask even having a print on the front that read Mrs. and he knew there was no way he was gonna talk you out of this. But on the other hand, he wanted nothing more than to be married to you.

"Ready." Marshall nodded while looking at you, and even though he couldn't see it, he knew you were smiling.

"Alright, i'll let her out." The doctor said opening the door that separated the two.

You quickly walked out and the doctor handed him a mask of his own to wear as well as some gloves for the two of you.

You both put on the necessary precautions and you took each others glove covered hands and linked them together as you both stared at each other in anticipation and love.

The doctor started the ceremony that contained just the two of you, a few nurses for witnesses, and the doctor himself.

" Do you Marshall, take this woman Y/N to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in heath, in good times and woe, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself solely unto her for as long as you both shall live?" The doctor asks.

"I do." Marshall says.

"Do you Y/N take this man Marshall Bruce Mathers III to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and health, to love, honor and obey, in good times and woe, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself solely unto him for as long as you both shall live?" The doctor asks looking at you.

"I do." You respond through a bit of coughing.

"Then by the power invested in me I know pronounce you husband and wife, you may now...uhh..fist bump the bride." The doctor shrugged looking at his nursed for their approval to which everyone nodded.

You sighed, and fist bumped your newly found husband, gaining a few laughs from staff members.

"Here I have something for you." Marshall said through the mask as he reached in his back pocket and pulled out a necklace that to your shock had your wedding ring attached to it.

He put it on for you and you couldn't help the tears that were coming down your eyes.

You looked at the necklace a bit more and you realized not only did it have your ring but it had his on it as well. You looked up at him in confusion and he laughed.

"I won't put mine on until you do too, until your better and healthy, which you will be." He said his tone confident.

He knew that even though you put up such a brave front you were just as terrified as everyone else, you were especially scared that you'd give it to Marshall who had asthma already.

"I love you." You said crying as he cupped your cheek and did something you didn't expect him to do at all. He kissed you, well not really kissed considering you both had masks on, but you understood the effort which immediately made your heart race.

You couldn't tell if it was from the Corona or The man in front of you but you were having difficulty breathing.

"You okay?" Marshall asks steadying you as he could see you breathing a little heavier than usual.

"I'm perfect, your perfect." You say laughing as he wrapped you into a gentle hug that left you way to quickly for your liking, but you realized it was time to get you back into quarantine.

The nurses helped you back into the room and handed you an inhaler to help with your breathing and you took a few puffs realizing Marshall was still there on the other side of the glass.

You watched as he peeled off his mask and blew his breath on the glass and began to draw into the new condensation on the glass.

You wondered what it would be until it became very clear to you, you immediately smiled wondering how you got so lucky.

He had drawn a heart on the glass, the very glass that separated you from each other.

You realized that no matter what challenges you two would face, even being quarantined couldn't separate you two from each other
