5th of September 2015

"So what is your first class?" Eloise asked me as she helped me navigate my time table. It turns out Eloise was in the bedroom next to me, meaning that my Sunday was spent learning everything I could about the school.

"Chemistry," I said as I walked behind her, ignoring all the looks that I was getting from everyone, probably because my hair was a mess and they had never seen me in their school before.

"Oh cool, me too," Eloise said and I smiled at her as I walked next to her. "Our class is just around the corner," she said as she took a sharp left and headed straight into a classroom, a very bland one at that.

"Are you smart enough to be in here?" a voice asked and I scoffed as I chucked my books down on a desk next to Luke, whilst Eloise sat on the other side of me.

"Yeah, she actually is," Calum said out of nowhere as he sat down in front of me. "She wants to be a doctor."

"A drug-addicted doctor, now there is something new," Luke mumbled so softly that I was the only one that could hear, almost earning a slap from me but luckily for him, our teacher walked in at that exact moment.

"Alright seniors, welcome back to Advanced Chemistry," he said with a grin, none of us saying anything as he introduced himself as Mr.Washington. "We will be starting of the year with organic chemistry, open your textbooks and let us get started."

I have always enjoyed science and maths, ever since I was a little girl. It is something I get from my Mum. I found organic chemistry particularly easy, as when I was not partying, I was usually reading or learning new things about chemistry, maths, biology, you name it. I so desperately want to be a doctor, so that means sometimes going above and beyond.

After chemistry, I had double specialist maths and after that, I was called into the principal's office.

"Probably knows you were snorting cocaine on the balcony the other night," Luke laughed. Nobody else found it funny.

"Get back to me when you stop sleeping with every girl in France," I scoffed as I walked away, heading straight into Miss Spell's office.

"Good afternoon Miss Spell, how are you?" I asked the young woman who was sitting behind a large oak desk. She had a kind smile, a very familiar one, which is when I realised she is a friend of my Mother's.

"My god Annabelle, the last time I saw you would have been-" she began and I nodded, knowing what she was about to say and I think she understood that I did not want to speak about my family, so she changed the subject rather quickly.

"Right, so I assume you know that you are required to play a sport and you have not selected anything," Miss Spell said and I internally groaned. I know she knew that I used to be good at athletics, but that all changed about three years ago, when I tore my ACL, amongst other things.

"Is this your way of getting me to join the athletics team?" I asked and she clapped her hands together with a smile on her face.

"Excellent Annabelle, training is three times a week plus weekends you usually have competitions, which start next week."

"I haven't trained in three years, how do you expect me to compete?" I asked.

"Well I remember you used to be very talented," she said. She wasn't wrong. "Also Annabelle?" she asked as I stood up, as I wanted to go an eat something before double biology.

"Yes, Miss Spell?"

"Lose the drugs," she said seriously and I felt my cheeks go red. "Just because I know you, does not mean you are exempt from the rules."

"Yes, Miss Spell. Thank you for your time," I said quickly rushing out of her office and straight to the senior common room.

"So, what did she say?" Eloise asked, who was now sitting with two other girls.

"Basically that I needed to do a sport of some sport," I said picking up some fruit and sitting down next to Calum.

"Athletics?" Calum asked and I nodded. "Also, this is Cara Archer," Calum said gesturing to the girl with incredible blonde hair and some of the longest legs I had ever seen. I recognised her from Calvin Klein and Dior campaigns, as she models for every brand under the sun.

"And this is Violet Malfoy," Luke said sitting down next to a girl who shot me a smile. Violet Malfoy is the daughter of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

"Hey, I am Annabelle Carrington," I said and they both smiled at me before Luke made a snarky comment, once again.

"Do they let drug addicts on the athletic team?"

"Well they let whores into the school, so they must do," I scoffed before taking a bite out of my apple, the people around us sniggering at my comment.

"Yikes Annabelle, steady on," Luke said but he was smiling, so I knew that he did not take it to heart.

"Somebody had to say it," Michael laughed and I shot him a grin before we all got back to talking before we all had to head back to class.

I had biology, then physics and my last lesson of the day was French before I headed back to my room with Violet by my side since she had French with me as well.

"So is it true you skipped out on like two weeks of school and went on a bender in Ibiza?" she asked and I groaned as I definitely did not want to remember that time in my life. Those two weeks are part of the reason that my father shipped me off to boarding school.

"Oh well yeah," I laughed awkwardly. I was at the height of my drug use then. There are so many days that I do not remember and so many days that I wish I did not remember.

"You have no boundaries do you?" Violet asked as we reached my room. She had a kind smile but I knew she was looking to get some information out of me.

"I guess not," I simply said. "Anyways, I have to get some work done, I will see you at dinner."

"Alright, bye Annabelle."

I quickly headed into my room, going straight to my wardrobe to find one of the many joints I had stashed, to find them all gone.

"What the fuck?" I mumbled to myself, heading straight back into my room to see Luke standing here with a smug smile on his face. In any other circumstance, I would have admired how good he looks in his school uniform, his shirt slightly untucked and his tie loose but right now I was pissed.

"What are you looking for Carrington?" he asked now sitting down on my bed.

"Where the fuck are they Hemmings?"

"Flushed down the toilet, every single one of them," Luke grinned and I could have screamed.

"What the fuck Luke?" I yelled, almost punching a hole through the Monet painting that was hanging on my gold and white walls.

"Annabelle you need to stop."

"I can't Luke, I fucking CAN'T" I screamed at him, Luke looking slightly alarmed. "Just get the fuck out."

And that is what he did.
