'And that is the end of the lesson, remember you have a test on Friday!' our physics teacher said for about the tenth time in the double lesson.

'How could we forget sir?' Eloise mumbled underneath her breath causing me to giggle as we walked out of the classroom together and headed back to our dorms, both of us having an obscene amount of homework to do.

'I'll see you at dinner Annabelle?' Eloise asked and I nodded before we headed our seperate ways, my body craving for a cigarette or a joint.

As soon as I headed back into my room I stripped off my uniform and got into some more comfortable clothes, looking for a joint or even a cigarette to ease my mind slightly.

'You know you shouldn't leave your door unlocked Belle,' Luke laughed and I almost jumped out of having him in my room without me knowing.

'What are you doing here Luke?' I asked, pulling down my large t-shirt I wasn't wearing any pants.

'Need help with my Specialty Maths homework,' he said shrugging his shoulders and I scoffed knowing that his words were absolute bullshit, as Luke was probably the smartest person in our class.

'Okay we both know that's a lie,' I sighed, knowing that I wasn't going to get a hit of anything anymore. 'Why are you really here?'

'We just hadn't spoken in a couple of days, I wanted to make sure that you were okay,' Luke said sincerely as we sat down at the end of my bed together, a sad smile appearing on my face.

Luke stayed with my almost all day last Sunday, making sure that I was okay and that I had everything that I needed, which is possibly one of the nicest things that anybody has ever done for me.

'Yeah I'm okay, still hurts though.'

'Is that why you drink and use drugs so much?' Luke asked out of nowhere and I nodded, as there was no point lying anymore.

'I just started one day to help and now I can't really stop. I've never done any of the harder stuff, I'm not that stupid.'

'I beg to differ,' Luke laughed and I just rolled my eyes at home, giving him a gentle tap on the shoulder.

'What about you? Why do you sleep with so many different girls?' I questioned, figuring I could get an answer out of him because we were being very honest right now.

'Guess I like the feeling it gives me,' Luke said shrugging his shoulders. 'I feel empty after though, I've always wanted something more but I don't think I'm ever going to find the right girl.'

'You're only eighteen Luke, you'll find the right girl someday,' I said with a small smile as I crossed my feet over each other, suddenly feeling very small and awkward.

'I think I have,' Luke said and I just rolled my eye, avoiding all eye contact with him.

'Who? Rory?' I scoffed.

'Nah she is sitting right beside me,' he said without skipping a beat.

'I'm pretty sure you're joking right now, so good joke Hemmings,' I said with a laugh as I stood up, my heart now suddenly racing.
