'So, has he officially asked you out yet?' Eloise asked as we ran laps together with Cara.
'Oh god no, I don't even want to start dating him yet,' I puffed out as we continued on to our fourth lap. 'We have only kissed once and I don't even know if he wants a serious relationship with me.'
'Trust me, we have known Luke for almost six years and we have never seen him this infatuated with a girl before,' Cara breathed as we continued to run together. Violet was currently completing rehab in the athletics centre, as her hamstring injury was worse than everybody thought it was.
'Good for him, he's going to have to try a lot harder if he actually wants to be with me,' I laughed before Coach Russell blew the whistle and called us back in.
I ended up practicing hurdles, as expected, with Luke running laps past me every five minutes, shooting me a wink every time he caught my eye which just caused me to roll my eyes at home as I continued to focus on my training.
'So I was thinking we could go on a date this Saturday, after our meet in London,' Luke stated as we headed back to our bedrooms. He didn't have a shirt on and it was taking every single bit of willpower I had not to stare at his body every five seconds.
'Oh were you now?' I questioned, knowing that Luke definitely was not one to take girls on date and I did not think that I would be an exception.
'Yeah, one of my favourite restaurants is in East London and I want to take you to it,' he said with a genuine smile as we reached my bedroom door, his black singlet hanging over his shoulder.
'How many other girls have you taken there?' I asked, a frown appearing on his face.
'None actually Annabelle,' he said seriously as I meant against my bedroom door, itching for a cigarette to have whilst I was in my shower. Actually I think that itch was for weed but unfortunately for me, I couldn't show up to dinner high.
'Okay, you can take me there then,' I said softly before I entered my bedroom, Luke following me inside. 'What do you want?'
'Checking your draws for drugs and cigarettes,' he said entering my wardrobe and grabbing a packet of cigarettes I had in my top draw.
'You can't do that!' I exclaimed and he shook his head in protest.
'When we first started talking you told me you would stop doing this shit if I stopped sleeping with every second girl in the school,' he said going underneath my bed and pulling out a zip lock bag full of weed. 'I've kept up my end of the deal so now it's time we get you off the shit. If you're going to be my girlfriend you are going to be sober and clean.'
'Who says I'm going to be your girlfriend?' I questioned, deterring the conversation slightly so Luke would hopefully forget why he was in my room.
'Oh please Annabelle that's just inevitable it's going to happen,' he laughed before frowning as he found a small bag of coke. 'This is getting flushed.'
I knew I couldn't win against Luke, so I let him take the drugs and the cigarettes, knowing that I would probably just get more of both next week.
'Fuck you,' I mumbled flopping onto my bed, already feeling the itch for a cigarette or something close.
'I heard that Belle,' Luke laughed as he left my room and I continued to sulk until I needed to have a shower and go down to the dining hall for dinner.
