'So what's going on with you and Luke?' Violet asked me as we stood around at the end of semester party in the common room.

We go on what I would call 'summer holidays' in about a week, but in France it's called 'winter vacation,' and I still haven't decided what I want to do for Christmas.

'Well I lied to him about my feelings for Jake and I told him that I never liked him,' I sighed running a hand through my hair. 'I don't know, I've never been good with boys and relationships, even before my Mum passed away I was never good with feelings and shit.'

'I've never seen him so whipped over somebody ever, and we have been going to this school for seven years,' Violet laughed and I sighed again, adjusting my dress so it wasn't riding up my legs.

'Then why won't he ask me out?' I asked.

'I don't know, I guess he is scared to be honest, Luke was always the one to literally have a different girl on his arm every week and now they you are here, everything has changed for him.'

'I wouldn't be so sure,' I mumbled, my heart dropping to the bottom of my stomach as I saw Luke walk in, his arm around Rory's waist.

'Oh for fucks sake,' Violet said harshly as Luke ignored all eye contact with me as he walked past, Rory turning around to give me a satisfied smirk which made my blood boil.

'I'm going outside,' I said quietly, Violet nodding before heading over to Ashton, who had a worried look on his face.

I found myself alone on the oversized balcony and luckily for me, I had some cocaine in my bag that I managed to buy from some guy in the year below me last night.

'Don't you even think about it,' Jake said as he saw me lining it up with my credit card. I rolled my eyes at him and snorted it anyway, the feeling of joy and lightning immediately going through my body.

'Oops, too late,' I said with a laugh and Jake just shook his head as he walked over to me.

'I thought you were getting better Annabelle?' he asked softly as I downed my drink and pulled out a joint from my purse. I knew that mixing drugs and alcohol heavily never ended well for me but tonight I did not even care.

'Luke and I promised that if he would stop sleeping with a different girl every week that I would stop with the drugs,' I sighed before taking a hit of the joint carefully between my fingers. 'So now that he slept with Rory I can do whatever I want.'

'Annabelle...' Jake said trailing off, a very worried look etched upon his face.

'He promised,' I croaked out, trying to hold back my drunken tears, not wanting to be that girl who cries over a boy when she is drunk.

'Oh god don't cry,' Jake said pulling me into an awkward hug.

'It's fine I'm fine,' I said with a small laugh, slipping out of the hug to take another hit of my joint, when Calum walked outside with Harry, both of them looking the most angry I had seen them in a long time.

'What the fuck are you doing Annabelle?' Harry asked as I took another hit, my head spinning like it never had before. God I needed something to eat. Or drink. Or maybe another line of cocaine.
