'Do you think we are going to have to slow dance tonight?' Calum asked as I helped him with his tie before we went down to meet our dates for formal, his being Eloise, and mine being Luke of course.
'Probably not, we will get to dance though, might start a mosh pit when they start Beyoncé,' I said with a grin and Calum just rolled his eyes at me as I finished fixing his tie, meaning we were ready to go downstairs to the main courtyard.
'Only you Annabelle would do that, only you,' he laughed as I just stuck my tongue out at him and picked up my nude clutch before we both agreed it was time to go.
My dress was simple yet elegant, meaning I could do more with my hair and makeup, which is what I usually like to do. It was a full length white strapless gown, with a modest split just off to the left of the front of the dress.
My hair was in a high pony tail, with two small braids on the side of my head intertwined with the ponytail. My face makeup was simple as I did not want it to take away from my dramatic gold eye and my red lipstick, the lipstick matching my red strappy heels, which gave me a little bit more height to be at Luke's level.
'Hey just thought you should know you look good, Carrington,' Calum said as we stood in the elevator alone, waiting for it to reach the ground floor of the building.
'Thanks Hood, you don't look too bad yourself,' I said with a grin and he just smiled at me, fiddling with his black tie nervously, the tie matching the colour of Eloise's dress.
We walked to the courtyard in a comfortable silence, mainly due to me focusing on my shoes so that I would not trip.
'Ah nice of you two to join us,' my brother said with a smile and I just rolled my eyes before pulling him into a hug. He was wearing a grey checkered suit with a black bow tie, matching no one in particular because him and Jake had decided to go alone this year, not wanting the drama of having a date.
'It takes a long time to look this good,' I said sarcastically as he just rolled his eyes at me, mimicking my actions from just before.
'You look good Annabelle, you really do.'
'Thanks Harrison, you look good too,' I said with a smile before making my way over to Luke, who was looking at me like he had never looked at me before.
'Holy shit Belle,' he mumbled when he took me into his arms and kissed my cheek before stepping back and looking me up and down, making my cheeks blush the same colour as my shoes.
'You look amazing,' I said truthfully, because he did, just as he always does. He was wearing a black suit with a white shirt and red tie to match my shoes and lipstick. His hair was neat and flat for once, his lip ring removed which I hated but it made him look more sophisticated, which I honestly did like.
'I look amazing?' he scoffed and I just giggled softly before he twirled me around and just sighed once more. 'I have never seen anybody in my whole entire seventeen years of existence ever look this good.'
'Oh shut up,' I laughed, shaking my head before his lips found my own and we kissed quickly but softly, not wanting any of our friends to give us crap about PDA.
'It's true, you look out of this world Annabelle and you need to know it,' he said with a smile and I just thanked him with a kiss on his lips before the photographer that Eloise had hired began to take photos of us, along with all of using our iPhones to get our own pictures that we can post on Instagram straight away.
