'Today is perfect,' Eloise said with a smile as she looked out the window of the estate we were currently in.
'Perfect day for the perfect couple,' Violet said with a smile and I just rolled my eyes as I slowly sipped on my champagne, waiting for our wedding planner to come and tell me that it was time to go.
'Are you nervous?' Cara asked and I shook my head, being careful not to mess up the loose curls my hair was in for today.
'Nah, if I was nervous I wouldn't be doing this. If anything, everything feels perfect,' I said honestly, a smile on the girls faces that I was with.
'You look beautiful Belle,' my friend Ruby said with a smile. Ruby and I met whilst studying medicine and quickly became close friends, and we have been attached at the hip ever since. Her mum is the CEO of GAP, meaning her family is similar to mine in the fact that our parents have been absent half our lives and that we had to look after ourselves half the time.
'So do you Ruby,' I said with a soft smile, feeling completely overwhelmed with happiness. 'You all do,' I said gesturing to the three other girls in the room.
The girls were wearing sage green midi slip dresses with buttons running down the middle. They all had their hair in messy high pony tails, with braids on each side of their heads rubbing to their pony tail. Their makeup was natural, with a soft gold eye to compliment the sage colour of their dress.
'Nothing compared to you' Eloise said, who is my maid of honour, a bright smile on her face. Her and Calum have been going steady and I am pretty sure he wants to propose soon, mainly because he keeps asking me about rings and how Luke proposed to me.
My dress was an Alex Perry design, and it was fairly simple but elegant. It was white, of course, in a silk material with a semi sweetheart neckline and low scoop back, with thin straps and a small train, but nothing too extravagant.
My makeup was natural, with a glittery pink eye being the main feature of the look that my makeup artist did. My hair was in loose curls, with two small braids on the side of my head, connecting at the back to match my bridesmaids.
'Thank you El, I love you,' I said before finishing my glass of champagne, the wedding planner and my dad on their way now, as my dad had texted me moments ago. 'I love all of you, thank you for already making this day so magical,' I said with a smile and Cara pulled us all in for a group hug, only letting go when there was a soft knock at the door.
Cara had gotten married to Michael last year in Australia, in a very extravagant ceremony but was beautiful nonetheless, all of us shedding more than a few tears throughout the day.
'Come in!' I called out, taking one last look at myself in the mirror of the room and picking up my soft pink roses that I would be carrying down the isle during the ceremony.
'Oh wow, you all look absolutely stunning,' the wedding planner, Maria said with a smile on her face. 'Are you all ready to go?' she asked.
'Yes we are,' I said, feeling more ready than ever to get married to my best friend.
'Alright, girls, you'll come with me now and Annabelle, take your time, we will wait for you,' Maria said and I nodded as the girls and I all embraced each other one last time and then it was just my dad and me left alone in the room.
