"hurry up! no slacking!" the children whimpered and clung together as they tried to hurry across the bow of the ship. "Together now! no falling behind!" Several of the guards raised their batons threatening, the ends sparking in bright blue electric currents. together the children hurried, clasping hands and tugging urgently as they followed the instructions of the masked adults surrounding them. they climbed aboard a large ship, with no windows nor comfort to be seen. everything was metal, cold, wet and coated with a thick razor wire. Hundreds of children, dressed in different uniforms from their primary schools, scrambled to form a loose circle on the center of the ship. they watched, frightened beyond reason, as the adults surrounded them. the guards were dressed in thick black armor and wore plane shapeless white masks; their sight granted to them through a single black bar of glass spanning across their faces.

"Hello everyone! you all must be very curious at why you're here!" towards the front of the ship, a man dressed in long black cloak stood atop a stack of three boxes, his gloved hands held behind his back. he wore a similar mask as his followers, but his brow was carved with the indentation of three sharp lines like blades of grass. "We are the phantom company, we take rare and precious quirks and sell them to highest bidders."

"How can you sell quirks?" one of the kids asked

"So glad you asked," the leader clapped, "We sell quirks by selling the quirk user. which is, you. so you see, to us, you're not children, you're not even human. You're very precious, expensive merchandise. You know what merchandise is? It's what a...a vase or a toy or a book. These are all examples of merchandise. Now, that's what all of you are. You're now books, vases, toys, off to be sold to the person with the deepest wallet."

"Isn't that bad?" another asked, throwing her hand up as if she were in school.

"ehhh," the man rolled his hands through the air, "only if we're caught." the children looked at each other in confusion, not understanding what he was trying to explain to them. "now, each of you are going to receive this fetching collar!" the man gushed and waved a thick metal band through the air, acting as if it were something precious. "Now so long as you follow the rules, its harmless! break the rules and..." he chuckled, shaking his head, "just don't break the rules and you don't have to find out." he waved a hand at one of the others behind him, a subordinate with unmistakably feminine features jumped up to a crate beside the leader, remaining just one tier shorter than him.

"Now then, we'll be separating you brats, don't worry it's most likely temporary." The woman's voice was low and sultry, a thick foreign accent curled across her every word. "You will be separated into two groups for now, those with quirks and those without quirks. with that, will all those under the age of four please come over here," the woman waved towards her left, "the rest of you will be tested about your quirks types." many siblings refused to separate and most had to be restrained, those who used their quirks were electrocuted, knocked unconscious and dragged away. after one of the older boys was electrocuted to the point that some of his flesh was starting to burn before passing out from the pain, many of the children began obeying.

A small group of children huddled close together, frightened and clinging they tried stand together as a small group of quirkless ones. there three boys and two young girls, each huddled so close together one of the girls could hardly be seen; which was their plan. The girls had matching dark green hair and were of the same height, the boys were hoping to hide the one of the girls.

"Tsu keep up," one of the boys whispered, looking about worriedly.

"Isuki-chan, is this okay?" 'Tsu' whispered, "What about when its collar time?"

"Tsu," The way 'Isuki' had said the other girls name, sounded more with a 'sh' then a 'tsu'. The children huddled closer together, catching sight of the guards moving closer to them.

"When you get the chance," the tallest boy whispered, "go overboard." 'Tsu' hummed in acceptance, knowing there was no other way for their survival. They had agreed that Tsu would travel with them to the quirkless section, the other section had a tall metal wall preventing anyone from leaping over the edge. The quirkless direction didn't have that wall, so they thought they could get Tsu close enough she could rush to get help.

"Hey, you brats!" the quirkless children whimpered and tried to hurry given their direction. "you group of five! stop right there!"

"Scatter!" two children in the quirkless group separated, interrupting the guard charging the Tsu's group. A young boy with both red and white hair stepped forward and brought with him a wave of blistering hot scarlet fire.

"Run!" two of the boys splintered from the girls and attacked the two guards charging them. More quirk-users leaped forward, creating chaos on the ship-deck.

"This way!" Isuki grabbed Tsu's hand and raced for the edge, the third boy racing after them quickly. "No matter what Tsuyu," another kid dived across them in a show of reflecting light and a terrified war-cry. "You must be strong!" they were nearing the edge, their companion splintering off to protect them from another charging guard. The girls reached the edge, an angry shout sounded behind them, Tsu cried out as a guard grabbed her long green hair. Then, before she could even blink in pain, Isuki was spinning, throwing Tsu towards the edge, fluttering's of green strands between them.

"Save us!" Isuki was restrained by the guard, one hand outstretched towards Tsuyu. Tsuyu had no time to react, no time to stop herself, a blast of hot air was hitting her chest and she was falling off the edge of the ship. As she was falling, tears blurring her sight, she could hear Isuki cry out in pain as bright blue sparks splintered off the edge of the ship.
