"Coming to you live! A fight between Foxfire and unknown villains have broken out in the market-district!"

Foxfire? Izuku thought as he stared at the newsfeed, snot running down his face and his eyes puffy and red.

"Izuku-dear you should be resting," Inko scolded lightly as she came back from the kitchen. "You promised you'd go to bed after your show, huh?" she stared at their T.V., flashes of blue and red where bursting across the screen as various heroes appeared and disappeared. "What's happening?"

"Foxfire got in a fight, his fire is out of control now," Izuku sniffled. "Can I... Can I watch this... please?"

"Izuku-dear you're sick," Inko sighed as she took a seat at his side and pulled him into her side, the bowl of soup in her hands sat forgotten on the table between them and the T.V.

"I know mama, but... please?" Izuku whimpered as he curled up against her side. "I can't explain it. It feels... it feels like have to watch this. Like something important that I can't forget. Mama I don't want to look away... not for a moment." Inko hummed in understanding, half distracted with the news feed and half distracted with keeping Izuku's snotty face away from her neck.

...

"Excuse me!" a young feline woman went running around through the streets, accompanied by two teenagers. "Have you seen a young girl around here?! She has blue hair!" she was looking around, panicked faced and panting heavily. She searching for anyone who responded to her cries but wasn't truly looking at the faces surrounding her. "Neon! Neon, baby, answer me!"

"Neon!" one of the boys called out, "Where are you?!"

"Neon! Answer us! NEON!"

...

"Reporting now! Best Jeanist's mysterious appetence has gone missing! Again, Neon, the ten year old apprentice of Best Jeanist is missing!" Izuku shivered violently, curling further in Inko's arms and barely managing to suppress a whimper of pain as his lungs constricted in his chest. He knew he was sick, he had caught a cold earlier that day but now the burning in his body felt unnatural. Like there was fire in his lungs crawling towards his skin, searching for an exit and scorching everything in its way. He couldn't even tell if he was still breathing but he watched the newsfeed, cringing every time a flash of blue fire appeared.

...

"Neon!" Tsunagu called as he raced through the rubble of the building, "NEON! Answer me!" he's never felt so panicked before, is this what parents felt that day at the museum? That suffocating panic, the feeling of drowning in your own skin, the sight of your child's figure hidden behind every possible figure imaginable. He hated it, the feeling of being helpless, of panic squeezing the life out of his lungs, of fear distorting his vision into doubles and triples. "NEON! ANSWER ME!"

"Best Jeanist!" Tsunagu turned to see Endeavour out of uniform with is wife and daughter at his side. "What's going on?! Where's Toya?!"

"I don't know!" Tsunagu answered, his voice cracking in panic. "I can't find him anywhere! Have you seen a little girl with blue hair and green eyes? she's my apprentice and she's missing too!"

"I'm sorry we haven't seen Neon," Endeavour retorting, having met the young girl before he knew who Tsunagu was describing. He also understood that Tsunagu had given the description for Rei and Fuyumi's benefits as neither have met the young apprentice.

"These are Toya's flames," Rei's voice cracked as she sent a layer of ice over the surroundings, preventing the blue fire from spreading.

"Mama Natsuo sees something!" Fuyumi called, pointing up at her younger brother racing through the blue flames, completely unphased by their immense heat.
