"You've fought those creators before?" All Might asked seriously.

"Yes," Izumi nodded solemnly. "It's how I knew what he was without expanding my sensory range."

....

Rokuro was floating before her, the left-over material of four monsters were a crumpled mess beneath him. Three more creatures were hovering near him, unmoving as their bodies crumbled slowly into ashes while pieces of their blood flowed into Rokuro's open wound. The remaining seven creatures stood on stand-by, awaiting their turn for decommission and freedom from their constant torment. She couldn't help the glow of the process, it would light up her entire section in white light, but at least it was daytime, that saved her some explaining at least.

As she worked on Rokuro, she would occasionally look at her classmate, reassuring herself that the teenager was still unconscious. At one point, she felt something shift. At first, she hadn't been aware of what it was, but she instinctively pulled her classmate to her side, putting her work on Rokuro on pause.

"Who's there?" she turned away from Rokuro to look at the figure crouching was her classmate was previously. "Who are you?" they were just a dark figure, shrouded in a black robe with a thick black hood, a black mesh covered the whole of their hood, preventing anyone from spying their real face. "are you responsible for these creatures?"

"Heh, even if I was, it would appear that they are no match for you, little Cyan." It was a man's voice, cold and low like a mocking rumble of thunder rolling across a stormy sky. "I was right to come here this day, its been a long time since I last met another of my kind." She raised one hand towards him, a blink the seven monsters were surrounding her protectively. "Easy little Cyan, I come in peace, not pieces." He chuckled as if it was a great joke that only he understood. "You must not know much about our kind. We're very rare you see—"

"I'm well aware," her voice was as cold as the white light that surrounded Rokuro and the three monsters who were giving up their quirks for him. "I had been saved from an auction house when I was young. Now, who are you, and what do you want?"

"I told you little, Cyan. I am the same as you." His voice was tinged with laughter and sounded sickeningly sweet. If she hadn't been used to such honeyed voices, perhaps she would've fallen for his following words. "There's something I need from you, little sister. I'm traveling the world in search of our kin. You were the brightest light I found in this city, so I took the chance to see you. I'm glad to see that you truly are one of my kin."

"You need me for something?" she asked, "fat chance on me agreeing. I have things to do here in this city. Now leave."

"Oh? Are you trying to save that man? What about that girl?" his laughing voice darkened, the sound of deranged insanity dripped his next words, "are you experimenting on them?"

"Don't get your underwear in a twist," she scoffed. "I'm saving him and keeping her unconscious for now." The creatures twisted and ducked, lowering themselves into ready battle stances. "now leave. You're distracting me."

"Do you believe that in the end, these two will continue to be at your side?" he asked, "once they find out who—or more likely what—you are, they'll abandon you. Just like your creator did." She turned away from him; one hand moved to press against her classmate's brow to comfort herself that the girl was still living. "You said you were saved from a slave-auction, that means your maker decided you were a failure. Since you won't come with me, then I'll go ask that lovely twin sister of yours."

"My elder brother saved me; I have no sisters." Her voice was a harsh snap, but she did look back at him, confused by his word choice. "don't bother going to my brother, he died trying to save me."

"...you have an elder brother but not a sister?" the man stepped back from her, as if startled by her words, "you're a natural-born Cyan?"

"What about it?"

"he... heh... hah... hahahahahahahahaha!" he wrapped his arms around his belly, suddenly laughing loud and shrill, like a deranged puppet from the insane asylum. "a born Cyan! Bahahahahaha! That's great! You're a thousand more powerful than the rest of us! Ahahahahhaha!"

"Quite being creepy and leave."

"Don't get angry little princess," the man's voice shook with his low voice and great amusement. "You're the only one who can find us. Only you can save us."

"and just how do you expect me to do that?" she asked with a scoff, "I already told you I'm busy in this city. Get lost."

"Oh, little princess, you have no idea how powerful you are." The man chuckled at her as if she were an amusing cat. "The next time you have a free moment, do this: imagine all the people around you are colorful blobs of ink. Cyans, those like us, are green. Everyone else is white. You'll see what I mean and when you do, come and see me. I'm sure you'll be able to find me."

...

"Did you ever go to see him?" Tsunagu asked, frowning at her story thoughtfully.

"No, I never had to," Izumi answered with a sigh. "He came to me on his own. When he does it... it feels like a soldier reporting to his commander. He still calls me 'princess' despite my protests. And he still tells me how many of 'our' people he's found. Most though are still children, so while he contacted their parents and formed them of the danger their children were prone too, ultimately speaking, he hasn't been able to retreat a single Cyan to a safe location."

"Well, at least he's not resorting to kidnapping," Tsunagu sighed in relief.

"I made sure that was an unacceptable response to any situation," Izumi grinned at him. "I noticed he seems quite proficient in finding young Cyan's or women who are pregnant with Cyan's."

"Has this man ever returned to you with an update of the Cyan's he's come across?" the principal asked

"No," Izumi answered. "He only writes down their basic info and addresses. I still have them in a binder in my room."

"We should gather these people and secure their locations," Tsunagu murmured. "They may be targeted sooner or later."

"What did I say about sheltering people?" Recovery girl asked, lifting her cane threateningly.

"You mentioned sheltering Izumi, not anyone else," Tsunagu retorted as he quickly backed away from the older woman.

"It would be quite rude just to uproot dozens of people with no explanation," All Might sighed. "we should do periodical visits to ensure their safety. not uproot them and relocate them."

"Indeed, putting all your eggs in one basket could lead to bigger problems," Recovery girl huffed in irritation.
