"Young Master, please hold tight to your seat. I am not accustomed to driving." Katsuki paled with the words, cringing as the vehicle took off at an even faster rate then his father's previously reckless driving. "contacting authorities. Heroes in area have been alerted. Contacting hospital... staff are preparing."

"are we going to be safe now?" Katsuki asked, "are mommy and daddy going to be okay?"

"My program dictates that I must protect Mitsuki and Katsuki Bakugo regardless of my own physical status." Mamiki answered, "so long as my program is operational, I will protect the Bakugo family. You will not be forgotten." To Katsuki, those words sounded more then just a promise from a robot. The AI sounded determined and to his young mind, she sounded angry. In the end though, the never arrived at the hospital in a safe manner. No, Mamiki made the decision to go straight through the doors of the hospital and stop at the nurse's station. The hospital personal reacted imminently, as if they had been forewarned about Mamiki's plans, and hurried to escort the Bakugo parents out of the car and into emergency care. One of the other nurses, a young one with amber hair and silver eyes, gently took Katsuki out of his car seat and with the wave her hand took Izuku out of his seat as well.

"telekinesis has its uses, huh?" the nurse grinned and winked at Katsuki, carefully pulling Izuku out of the car and setting him onto a nearby stretcher. "can you tell me what happened to your friend? Do you know why he's unconscious?" the nurse asked as she set him down and began carefully checking Izuku.

"Mamiki, they're here!" Katsuki cried out as he clung to the nurse's leg.

"I understand the mission given to me," Mamiki replied from inside the car, "trust me young Master, they will not enter this hospital." With that the car backed out of the building and blocked the entrance, "stop approaching! You will not harm my owners!"

"We need to go," the nurse lifted Katsuki onto the stretcher and then began pushing it down the hall, running as fast as her uniform aloud her. "Doctor! Case thirteen-B!"

"I'll set the code and put us on lock down!" the man replied as he splintered off in the opposite direction, calling out for security while he was at it.

"Little one I need you to remain calm and tell me what happened to your friend, understand?"

"I am calm," Katsuki pouted at her

"I need to know how those bruises got there, understand?"

"Izuku said he found them," Katsuki answered, "three days ago."

"Three days ago?" the nurse asked, "are you a Memorial Child?"

"Memorial Child?"

"It's a term most of us adults associate with the kids who were kidnapped six days ago and returned to us four days ago," the nurse informed him. "Did your friend get those bruises when upon landing in Shizouka prefecture?"

"Uh no!" Katsuki answered hurriedly, bracing himself on the stretcher as they took a harsh turn. "we were there but Izumi saved us! We weren't taken that day!"

"Izumi? Izumi Midoriya?"

"You know her?"

"I'm really beginning to hate that name," the woman grunted as she charged an elevator, spun the stretcher into it, stepped inside and pressed a button in seemingly one fluid movement. "Izumi Midoriya is responsible for the rescue of nearly four-hundred children. She's the reason the bubble-kids didn't sink to the bottom of the ocean and why the quirk less ones were freed before they were taken away."

"Ah Izumi-chan is super smart!" Katsuki grinned, "Izuku will be happy to hear she's okay!"

"What are you talking about?" the nurse asked as she stepped forward and began checking Izuku again. "Izumi Midoriya was never recovered. She's the only one of the missing that stayed missing."

"but... mama... she said she was found..."

"and she was," the nurse ripped Izuku's shirt open, frowning at the bruises on his skin. "but the villains took her away before anyone could get close enough to save her. This is bad... when did these occur?"

"But Izuku and Izumi are twinsies!" Katsuki shouted at the nurse, "wouldn't he know if she, if she..." he couldn't say it, those awful words his mother said about his grandma a while back, how he'd never see that woman ever again. He could still see her purple eyes, dancing with secret laughter, and her smile that always warmed his heart. How could his grandma no longer be living? How could Izumi join her after promising him that day? No, he wouldn't say it and he wouldn't say it because it wasn't true.

"What are you talking about?" the nurse pulled back form Izuku to look at Katsuki.

"Izumi always knows when Izuku gets hurts and always saves us! She gets bruises in same place as his owys all the time! so-so wouldn't he know too?" Katsuki asked, his loud voice trailing off into broken sobs. "Izumi always knows Izuku's owys... so... so wouldn't he know too?"

"the twin-nack," the woman murmured, "that changes everything."

"A what?"

"It's something that only twins have," the nurse answered him. "these bruises... if nothing happened to him then they're properly hers. If that's the case then..." the woman stopped talking, staring down on Izuku, lost in thought.

"he's been sleeping a lot," Katsuki said suddenly, "he hasn't eaten yesterday or today either. He slept all day yesterday!"

"Has he been sleeping since the attack?"

"Not at first," Katsuki admitted, "He couldn't sleep at all first day and most of second day too... but then he fell asleep and he's been sleeping ever since. He only wakes up to go potty now."

"You're friend is okay," the nurse smiled at him as the doors opened, she grabbed the head of the stretcher and pulled them out. "Don't worry little one, Izumi and Izuku have a strong bond." The nurse smiled as the stretcher rolled past her, then she grabbed the end and started running again, pushing them along the pale white walls of the hall. "So long as they live, they will feel the pain of the other. What you described Izumi going through before, now its Izuku's turn. He's the reason Izumi was able to do what she did all those days ago. Now she's fighting and Izuku is doing what he can so she can fight without hindrance." The nurse smiled at him, a smile of hope and pride and relieve, a smile that set his heart at ease as he stared into her silver orbs.

"As weird as it is, Izuku's pain says Izumi is still alive."
