Three hours ago

All Might felt awkward in the conference room, out of all the heroes he was the only one a certain lizard-woman would remain even remotely calm around. anyone else seemed to make her anxious, she would start off by tapping her foot impatiently and then her claws were tapping, then she was growling and then-finally- she would begin pacing the room. However, in his presence, she seemed calm. She remained at his side, arms crossed, eyes closed, completely and utterly still. He never bothered to speak to her, those who spent time with her and spoke to her usually ended up making an imprint on a wall somewhere. Penitence was not her strong suit.

This is so awkward! All Might internally cringed with his isolation, none of the other heroes wanted to be near the lizard-woman who was only present for the sake of her children. He wanted to be in the front of the room, standing beside all the other famous heroes and reassuring everyone that the children would be returned. But 'Tanith' had made such a huge and ugly scene the day her children had gone missing, many heroes wanted her to be imprisoned for murder of those kidnappers. Unfortunately only the one who even had a chance at defeating Tanith was All Might and he saw no reason why she couldn't join their mission, especially since she was so powerful.

"Mr. All Might," he looked towards the speaker, a young man with green hair and two bright yellow stripes was approaching him. His angular face bore a stern expression and his golden eyes glared out at the world as if he detested all living beings.

"Ah! Young Nighteye!" All Might greeted cheerfully, "How can I help you?"

"The lizard woman beside you, who is she?"

"Ah! This is Mrs. Tanith! She will be a great aid to our efforts!" All Might shifted to point at the woman but froze instead when the feeling cold scales touched his skin. Confused he looked down to see that Tanith was leaning against his arm slight, head bowed and shoulders rising rhythmically in the indication of sleep. "Ah, she is sleeping right now." All Might's voice lowered drastically with the realization, his eyes locked down on the reptilian woman leaning against him. "Why do you ask, young Nighteye?"

"...she seems familiar—"

"You're not just leaving me here!" the angry cry came from the front of the room, drawing everyone's attention. Endeavor was standing before his wife with his arms crossed, appearing unmoving to his wife's pleas to join the rescue mission. "I'm going with! They're my children too!"

"And what about Toyo and Natsuo?" Endeavor asked, "Are you just going to leave them home alone?"

"They're with my mother!" Rei very nearly screamed at him, "I'm not leaving Fuyumi and Shoto with some lunatics! I'm going!"

"You don't seriously think any of us are just going to remain here do you?" Rei and Endeavor turned towards the woman speaking and discovered a few dozen women all standing together. "There isn't a mother in this room that doesn't want to go!"

"No honey," one of the hero's called, raising his hands towards his wife.

"Don't you honey me!" the woman ordered loudly, "I'm going too! You're not the only one with a battle quirk!"

"perhaps but your quirk backfires too much on you—"

"You're not talking me out of this!"

"There is no reason why we shouldn't participate," everyone turned towards the speaker, a woman they knew only as 'Tanith'; a creature with a voice as cold as the steal of death's scythe. "They took my daughter, I am going. They took their children," she waved at the other mothers, "if they have strength of will, they should go as well. If you are true 'heroes'," no one corrected the way she said the name, with hatred and disdain, as if it was the bane of her very existence, "then you will adapt and overcome. Isn't that what being a 'hero' was all about? Over coming your challenges and protecting those not strong enough to protect themselves?"

"Why do you say 'hero' like that?" All Might asked, approaching with concern in his voice. "As if heroes—"

"It was a hero who murdered my mother and brothers," Tanith interrupted him, "I have no respect for those seeking glory and recognition. You call yourself heroes? I call you praise-seeking-monsters." Tanith turned to leave, no one saying anything against her, she didn't stop even as a familiar insect-looking hero reached out and tapped her shoulder. Scarlet Widow sighed and turned back to the group of mothers, staring at their uncertain faces and their husbands who stood protectively beside them.

"if your going then hurry up, we don't have time to lollygag around," Scarlet Widow ordered. "There's been a disturbance at sea, those of you with water quirks pair up with someone who doesn't. Heroes, travel with a team no less then three. Pro-Hero's keep an eye on those without water-based quirks, you'll be their support throughout this ordeal."

"Rei!" Endeavor called out but his wife ignored him, for the first time since they met, she ignored him. Snarling he followed his wife, glaring at her back as he marched after her. Many other husbands followed as well, it seemed as if the meeting was over and there was nothing anyone could do but to follow the group of women who banded together. Tanith and Scarlet widow took lead, discussing various plans along the way to the shore. It was merely fortune that had the meeting near Takumi Memorial Bay, there many civilians and heroes met with several unlikely people.

"Tanith!" a woman in heals and a black body suit with a thick satchel hurried over, "Scarlet! I think we've found a lead!"

"Silence! How are the others?" Scarlet greeted the woman in heals quickly, "your mask is crooked." She said as she fixed the item in question.

"Thanks," 'Silence' giggled, reaching out to clasp Tanith's hand before the lizard-woman could walk away. "Anyways, your cousin said he got some word, they're going to have a quirk-auction in a few days."

"We can not allow that," Scarlet hissed

"That's not even the worst part," Silence retorted, "They keep mentioning something about a 'Cyan' and how a-ah what was his name? green... green... greenking? Greenbee? Green—"

"Greenbrae?" Tanith asked

"Yeah! Someone named Greenbrae is going to be there to collect the 'Cyan'." Silence agreed quickly

"He is the reason behind the whole quirk-auctioning," a man walked towards the women, made of pure muscle and wearing a thick mask of cloth; hero killing stain had made an appearance.

"What are you doing here?!" many heroes cried out, tucking their significant others behind them. The crowd erupted, voices raised, curses flew; even Endeavour stood protectively in front of his wife.
