"How is he?" All Might asked as he entered the nurse's office after the examination, Izuku was only here until his mother could pick him up. Izuku had used All-for-one during the exam and severally broken both legs and his left arm, thankfully Recovery-Girl had been close by at the time so his injuries were reduced very quickly.

"All Might, who is that boy?" Recovery Girl asked imminently, not turning in her seat so she could keep her eyes on the unconscious boy.

"His name is Izuku Midoriya," All Might answered, "Why? Did something else happen?"

"When I was healing him I noticed a couple things," Recovery-girl started slowly. "first off the flesh around his bones appeared unharmed and in perfect condition. However his bones were seriously damaged, there were twenty-factors, three breaks and shards in each bone. His limbs looked twisted and disfigured but... but his flesh was unharmed."

"how can that be?" All Might asked, frowning in thought. "My quirk should've been completely absorbed by now. So any damage done by his quirk should've done damage from his bones outward, how could the flesh around his bones be unharmed?"

"I don't know but I have a thesis," Recovery-girl tilted her head back to look at All Might seriously. "A few years ago I came across a pair of twins, one had the rejuvenation quirk and the other was a fire-quirk. They had both been seriously injured in an accident but the one with the rejuvenation quirk didn't need my help, he was healing up just fine without me. However, his brother was not so lucky. His core was heavily damaged, his organs spewing out of his body like volcano slowly erupting. Without my help, he would've died within a few minutes. So I activated my quirk and started to save him but I wasn't the only one who was. The twin with the rejuvenation quirk was unconscious and he was unconscious because he was subconsciously trying to save his brother. My quirk amplified his and with our combined efforts, the other twin was saved."

"What's the point of this story?" All Might asked, "Midoriya doesn't have any siblings. All he ever talks about his mother. Seriously. Its always 'Kacchan' this or 'mom' that. That woman is his entire world."

"I'm Kacchan," All Might jumped and looked behind himself at the young man in the doorway to the nurse's office. He had sharp crimson eyes and wild spiky platinum hair, dressed in a sleeveless black shirt and baggy green pants. "Deku has been calling me that since we were kids. Just like I've always called him 'Deku'."

"...how much of our conversation did you hear?" All Might asked slowly

"Just the last part," Katsuki drawled, then he turned his attention to Recovery-girl, seemingly dismissing All Might. "Let me guess, his injuries started to heal on their own?"

"Dose the boy have a regeneration quirk?" Recovery Girl asked curiously

"No, he doesn't have a quirk at all," Katsuki corrected, "he's quirkless. Always has been." Katsuki walked a little further into the room, sparing All Might a quick glance before looking again at Izuku's unconscious face. "I'm assuming Izu's strange power surfaced again."

"Izu?" All Might questioned but was ignored.

"Hmm, I guess that's a good sign," Katsuki shrugged carelessly and walked back out of the room. "So long as his wounds heal at an unnatural rate, she's still alive."

"Whoa, hold up there kid, what are you talking about?" All Might called out, trying to get answers out of Katsuki. "who's Izu?"

"Izumi Midoriya," Katsuki answered as he passed the doorway. "Is Izuku's younger twin sister. She's the stolen Cyan from ten years ago. The one," he paused and glared at All Might over his shoulder, hatred seeping from every pour of his person. "She's the one All Might failed to save." Katsuki walked away, disappearing down the hall and out of sight. All Might understood then, why he felt so compelled to keep Izuku in sight. On a subconscious level, Izuku reminded him of that child he failed to save.

"If his twin has a regenerative power, it's a no wonder how he healed so much faster with my influence." Recovery Girl murmured. "If she was that girl from ten years ago and their bond is still so strong, then that boy is right. Izuku's healing powers are a sign of that girl's living status. However, that bond could be a double edge sword. If he heals because of her powers, it's possible she either receives or experiences his injuries."

"So you mean they're like a pair of computers connected by WIFE right?" All Might questioned. "You could be typing on one computer and the text will appear on the other screen?"

"Precisely," Recovery Girl agreed. "it's a double edge sword though, isn't it?"

"Yeah, if a hacker gets on that other laptop, they could seriously mess up that other laptop." All Might looked at Izuku with dawning realization, "or maybe, they could add protective software to that second laptop." Recovery Girl hummed in agreement.

"So long as he is living, we can always find that girl." Recovery Girl smiled at All Might, "So long as we can save her, then you never failed her."

"...The fact that I didn't save her that day, is proof enough of my weakness," All Might sighed. "And I have no excuse for why I didn't save her. She was still a child and I foolishly believed..." he cut himself off, biting on his lip and turning away from Izuku. "How can he still look at me like... knowing I failed him so hard?"

"...humans are a strange and miraculous race," Recovery Girl replied gently. "We're capable of forgiving those who ultimately shouldn't be forgiven and we're capable of loving those who wish us great harm. Humans are strange creatures indeed."
