"MOMO!!" the scream shook the air, the parents who cried out in terror took off like rockets off the iceberg, diving into the water and swimming for everything they were worth towards the sinking bubble of pink. Several mutants and transformers quickly dived after the couple, helping them support and push the giant pink bubble towards the iceberg. In just heart beats the man created a giant net to wrap around the pink bubble and the woman strengthened the robes to twice their weight. All Might stooped over the edge of the iceberg and hauled the giant pink bubble onto the iceberg, he turned to look at Scarlet Widow for help but saw she had already entered the heart of the iceberg with Silence at her side.
"Momo! Momo, baby, we're here!" the mother pounded on the bubble's glass, crying hysterically at the unconscious little girl inside.
"Please move aside ma'am!" the couple moved as a young woman dressed like a cat stumbled forward and placed her hands on the glass. "come on... wake up..." inside the children seemed to cough, choking on the pink liquid supporting them, and then began thrashing; several curling up on themselves as they gripped at their swollen shoulders.
"They're alive!"
"Oh thank gods!"
"Momo baby!"
"Denki! Denki, open your eyes! mama is here baby!"
"My Kouji!"
"Look it over there! the flyers got the quirk-less ones!" they looked again, watching those with wings struggle to keep the room of children from sinking into the ocean. One of the mothers cried out in terror and dived into the ocean, one of the water-mutants quickly aided her into getting to the floating building. Once there the woman tapped her hands on glass and the whole building lifted from the ocean-surface.
"Baby! My baby!" the woman sobbed, clinging to the building edge as the little girl—a near perfect replication of herself—cried against the glass of the room. "Mama's here baby, mama's here!" All Might looked around, hundreds of children, by far more then he ever thought he'd see in his life, surrounded him and not a single one was calling out to him. They were all looking for their parents, clinging to siblings, crying in terror and joy. There was another thought in the back of his mind, something like expectation, longing, as if he was waiting for someone to call him out. He was listening, waiting, patiently waiting, but as he looked about, listening carefully, no one called out to him. There were no children calling him father, no children calling him friend, no children calling him uncle; no one was paying him any attention. Dismissing the feeling in his chest, of longing and hope, All Might sought out the apparent leader of the flyers.
"Good job heroes! You did well in saving those children! I had no idea all of you could fly so fast!" All Might praised them but it didn't appear as if the winged individuals appreciated his praise.
"We didn't," one with wings as brilliant as a doves murmured, soft and gentle with sad sapphire-eyes. "They were getting so far away... there was no way for any of us to catch up to them..."
"They even put their jets into play," one of the males mumbled, his reptilian wings folding against his back tightly. "That blast of hot air hit most of us into the ocean..."
"If I may ask," All Might started slowly, "if you did not catch up and save the children, how did you get them?" they all looked at each other, uncertainty marring their faces.
"I'm not sure but I think it has something to do with the fight on the ship," one of the men pipped up, scratching the back of his head unsurely. "I think... that the explosion sent some debris into the chains holding the building to the helicopter."
"Either way the chains broke and we were able to save the children before they sank into the ocean," one of the women pipped up. "I suggest we count our lucky stars and move on."
"Aren't you curious how though?" one of the others asked
"No," the woman answered sternly. "No I don't and I don't because my baby is alive and well and that is what matters most. You should go check your brats too." With that she marched away, to the house she just helped pull into the iceberg and opened the door; then screamed as a burst of electricity engulfed her.
"Stay back!" a voice inside the room cried out, the voice of a panicked young woman. "Do you know who you just angry?!" her language skills was horrible, her English accent as thick as the skin of a hippo; it was painfully obvious that Japanese was not her first language.
"Do you understand there is an army of angry as fuck parents waiting for you to screw up?" someone else asked, "stand down and you just might live through the night."
"I no live on landfall!" the woman retorted. "Why no easy course?! You know who offended?!"
"Let me guess, your old man?" someone drawled, sounding very unimpressed and maybe on the verge of correcting the woman's lack of grammar skills.
"I die a thousand deaths for blood-kin monster!" the woman snarled, "you no know 'All for one'!" like a pair of rockets two individuals rounded the edges of the room, both stopping just on the edges of the doorway; their voices echoing out together in righteous united fury.
"How do you know that name?!"
All Might froze and looked at the woman across from him, she was old with black hair pulled up into a high and tight bun, a thick stripe of gray, silver and white ran from the side of her eye up into the bun and another longer lock slipped down to frame the side of her face. Her eyes were narrowed into an angry glare, making her amethyst irises spark like fire. Her well-tanned face was wrinkled with time but there was a type of agelessness that he's seen before—in one other person.
"I am Yukiko Hisakawa, who are you young man?"
"I'm All Might, inheritor to Nana Shimura." All Might retorted, his voice low and stern.
"Nana-chan? Are you serious?" the woman perked, "Boy don't play with me. Nana is my elder sister!" it threw All Might for a loop, the speed in which the older woman slipped into English was almost too fast for him to understand.
"I'm not playing grandma," All Might seemed to pout at her, miffed that she wanted proof of his identity. "Teacher never said anything about having a sister."
"I bet she never said anything about going to the southern islands of Kyushu either huh?" Yukiko asked, crossing her arms and leaning against the room. "Girl! Answer me this: Who is the rightful heir of the four winds?"
"...that's an old Code, how do you know it?" The woman inside questioned but when she received no answer, she sighed herself and answered the question. "Miyako of Ume house in district three."
"The infamous 'queen' of Calygreyhounds," Yukiko sighed, "Or should I say queen of Gininu?"
"...who are you?" her voice shook, fear mixed with disbelieve trembling along the cold air of the iceberg.
"The same queenyou should be kneeling before," Yukiko replied calmly. "This isn't thetime nor place for a discussion young lady. Come out and I'll make sure you'lllive—sent to prison for your crimes but you'll be alive."
