Soulmate AU!
For this chapter, I'm going to have your eye color be your favorite color. Or you can choose any color you would like as your eye color.

Colors.
The colors are beautiful.
But imagine if you could see all, but one.
The curiosity of what the color looked like would overwhelm you.
In a world of various ways to find one's soulmate, (Y/N) just happened to end up with the one where you could see all colors. Except for the color of her soulmate's eyes, that is.
Not many people had this form of soulmate finding. Everyone else could bask in every color imaginable.
The world always had something missing from her life since her soulmate's eyes were supposed to be red.
(Y/N) had never once seen the color red. She could only imagine what it could look like. People told her it was vibrant and beautiful.
"I love fall," she mumbled to herself as she looked her the window.
There was a cool breeze, the leaves were falling off trees, and the weather was perfect.
The only thing that bugged her was that she was never able to enjoy it fully. She didn't like the fact that she couldn't see the color red, and was beginning to become impatient.
She wanted to meet her soulmate so badly, but as time passed, her hope to find them was wilting. All her friends had found their soulmates, so why hadn't she?
Her phone began to ring, pulling her out of her thoughts, and she sighed as she answered.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Girl! It's Mina. I was wondering if you wanted to come to a party with me," the voice on the other line said.
"A party? What kind of party?" (Y/N) asked.
"Well, it's more like a ball, but—"
"A ball?! What do you mean it's a freaking ball?"
"Well, if you'd stop interrupting me, and actually listen, then I could explain things to you," Mina said.
"Okay, fine, I'm sorry. Now, explain," (Y/N) sighed.
"Basically, my school is holding a fundraising ball for charity. It's going to start earlier in the afternoon and end around midnight. People can make donations throughout the event or bid at the auction that's going to happen in a separate room," Mina explained.
"I see. Well, wouldn't it be kind of dangerous if the school invited random people to the event? I mean what if villains disguise themselves as random citizens, and decided to attack or something?"
"That's why we have to do a background check on everyone who's invited. We're not doing it on campus grounds, and you'll need to be approved to be able to enter. Besides, we're not just inviting random people. We're inviting people we trust, and know will be approved," Mina stated.
"And how do you know I'll be approved?"
"Because you're a goody-two-shoes."
"What? No, I'm not! I'm just a misunderstood badass! In no way in hell that I'm a goody-two-shoes," (Y/N) fumed.
"(N/N), you sure about that? Whenever you come over, you clean all the dishes, clean my room, and help me with all the homework I haven't finished. All on your own free will, too. You're a class rep, have straight A's, and have never in your life gotten detention or some sort of scolding," Mina smirked.
