Living with Bakugo wasn't as scary as (Y/N) thought it would be. She thought it would be a bit intimidating for her to live with someone she barely knew at all. Even if that wasn't necessarily his fault, she simply felt nervous about it, but Bakugo made her feel so much more comfortable.
Bakugo would go out of his way to show her around, and make sure she wouldn't get lost around the city whenever she went out to explore. He was only ever a phone call away when he was at work and always took time out of his day to tell her stories of their childhood.
(Y/N) found it endearing how he would give her things she used to like. She assumed it was to jog her memory a bit, but she still found it cute that he remembered that after so many years even if she didn't.
Eventually, she began to grow fairly fond of him, and with him, came Yumi. Yumi was a wonderful little girl. Always so polite, but also feisty. She had her little attitude, but only to those she either despised or were bugging her friends. Yumi was protective of everyone she cared about much like her father.
Eventually, (Y/N) began to babysit and run errands with the little girl. They spent so much time together and were pretty in tune with what the other wanted. (Y/N) would take her to and from school while Bakugo and his parents worked.
It had been a few months since (Y/N) had woken up in that hospital, and she was happy to be okay and safe. Yet, something in the back of her head felt empty. She couldn't remember anything about her past. Whenever Bakugo would tell her things about their early years of school, she would try and imagine the scene but no memories came with it.
The only thing (Y/N) thought could be memories were the nightmares she was having every night. She could feel the pain that came with everything she dreamt of. She didn't understand why she was having these horrible nightmares, and it only confused her more.
After another night of fun and games with her friends at the Bakugo residence, (Y/N) bid an early goodnight to everyone. She had been helping Bakugo host the entire night and due to the lack of sleep from the night before, she was pretty tired. As she fell asleep, she kept jolting awake by the flashes of her previous nightmares popping into her mind.
Now, (Y/N) was wide awake, unsure when the next bout of sleep would come. Instead of trying to force herself to sleep, she grabbed her phone, one that Bakugo had gifted to her, off of the nightstand and began to scroll around on different apps. Eventually, she settled on watching a couple of videos, mainly ones about true crime and the like.
(Y/N) clicked on a video titled: 'The Shadow Queen: from the beginning to her mysterious end.'
Her curiosity was piqued and as she watched, she noticed it was almost like a documentary, but realized it only had a few views even if it was already a few months old.
'The Shadow Queen: Umbra. A villain that had been tormenting the country of Japan for years has suddenly disappeared off the face of the earth. The police have reported that she had been apprehended a few weeks after she stopped large-scale attacks. Something that many found odd was that there were no news outlets reporting on the matter and it was hardly talked about by the public. Dynamight, who was said to have been the one to defeat the villain, refused to make a statement. Only saying he did what had to be done.
