Being raised an orphan isn't a great way to start life. (Y/N) was always running around the streets, looking for food and shelter after having run away from the orphanage at the age of 7.
With her quirk, she could threaten people who didn't want to help her and defend herself who those who wanted to hurt her.
After nearly dying in a villain attack, where no heroes were insight to save her, (Y/N) was taken in by All For One.
She looked up to him after seeing how powerful he was. She saw him as the father she never had. She was much like Shigaraki, in the sense that she hated heroes for never helping her. For abandoning her when she needed them most.
"(Y/N)! Come over here, child," All For One called from behind a monitor.
"Yes, Father?" (Y/N) said as she approached the screen.
"It's time to put you to good use. You've been through enough training. I believe you're ready to take on your first mission."
"Are you sure? I mean, I'd love to take a part in destroying hero society, but do you truly believe I'm ready?" (Y/N) asked.
"Don't doubt yourself, young one. You've come a long way. I trust you'll complete your mission."
"Thank you, Father."
"You'll be infiltrating U.A. as a student. Take the entrance exam just like everyone else. I'm sure you'll do just fine and make it into the hero course. We need to gather as much information as possible. Do you understand?"
"Yes, Father."
"Good. Now off you go. The entrance exam is in a week, both written and practical."
Nodding, (Y/N) left, excited she was finally participating in All For One's plan.
Once making it into Class 1-A, (Y/N) acted a bit shy, hesitant to make 'friends' since she didn't want to blow her cover, but that plan was quickly pushed aside when the rest of the students wouldn't stop bothering her. They wouldn't stop trying to become friends with her.
Eventually, she gave in to the urge to get to know them. (Y/N) wanted to know their reasoning as to why they thought hero society was a good thing. It just seemed like they had all been brainwashed into believing that heroes could do no wrong.
But after spending time with them, she noticed how much passion they had and how hard they were working to make it to their goal. It made her think.
Were the heroes that bad?
They seemed so full of themselves whenever (Y/N) was out on her own, not caring to help her when she was in need. Now, they seemed to really care, especially the students who treated her as an equal.
She had always felt inferior to All For One, and the one she considered her brother, Shigaraki Tomura. She felt like she'd never live up to them and their expectations, but here, with the heroes, she felt like she could do anything.
(Y/N) had never felt so much love from anyone. The people she considered her family wouldn't ever show her any affection or touch her all that much. Shigaraki was always annoyed at her and never touched her due to his quirk, only ever threatening her to leave her alone, while All For One was never really around to give her attention.
Soon enough, she dreaded going back to the bar she grew up in. UA felt like home, and the bar always felt so hostile.
UA was her safe haven from all the criminal activity and death threats she would get on the daily. She felt safe in UA, in the arms of her friends, and the guy she had fallen in love with, Bakugo Katsuki.
