Words from the Author:
Right now, I have an idea for an episode that involves me ripping off something from the Rebuild of Evangelion. I doubt I will bring that idea out in this episode though. I'll likely use this one to set up for my idea while making it more in the informative side about a certain someone. Enjoy the episode. I continue to thank the great minds of the Gainax team for bringing us Evangelion.
Episode 12: With An Uncomfortable Twist Comes Uncertainty
After their recent success, the children were allotted the rest of the weekend to relax. Once it came to an end and Monday started, it was clear that there will be a new student in the class. For the time-being, class has not started yet as the students are talking among themselves while awaiting the teacher's arrival. The classroom that the pilots are in is room A-3, symbolizing their grade level and remaining with the same classmates. It's currently the beginning of May, 2016 while the children are dressed in the exact school uniform from before, obviously including Mari.
The teacher finally enters the classroom with a calm demeanor and stops ahead of the board while facing towards the students, wielding his hands behind his posterior. He's the same elderly man from the students' eighth grade year, having been transferred due to overall alterations occurring during reconstruction.
Hikari quickly rises from her seat with seriousness exhibited as she's attentive of her fellow classmates. "Stand up, everyone!"
The students simultaneously act in response to Hikari's order while acknowledging the teacher's arrival.
Hikari soon says with a firm tone, "You may sit down!" She takes her seat while viewing the teacher as the others follow suit, maintaining their concentration onto him too.
The teacher briefly clears his throat prior to uttering blandly, "Good morning, students. I would like to start things off by introducing your new classmate. So please, make him feel welcomed." He steers his vision toward his left, which is where the door is stationed, and motions via his left hand for the new student to come inside.
Nero casually walks into the room with his hands in his pockets, goes toward the teacher as he cheerfully smiles and adjust himself according to confront the group of teens. It can be noted that he's wearing the school uniform with a dark grey t-shirt underneath the polo and comments with sincerity, "Good morning, everybody. My name is Nero Akaya. I'm honored to be a part of your class." Nero closes his eyes while respectfully bowing towards his classmates.
That results in all the students, except the pilots, demonstrating an awestruck conduct while doing a double-take between Nero and Shinji. A male student then focuses on a boy seated behind him and whispers with his right hand cuffed around the left sector of his mouth, "Dude! That guy looks just like Shinji!"
The other male student sets his gaze upon the one who spoke, nodding in agreement before whispering to his friend with his left hand encompassing his own mouth, "Yeah! Could they be related?!"
A female student joins in, sitting next to the second guy, and gives both of them a serious glare as she gingerly remarks. "No way! Asuka never mentioned that Shinji has a twin, or anything close!"
The first individual veers his attention toward the girl, emitting an expression of realization in the process. "You're right!" He furrows his brow while leaning towards the chick. "Shinji's never said a single thing about it either!"
Another teenage dame cuts in while situated behind the second boy, presently concentrating on the first male with faint arrogance portrayed, and whispers, "If you haven't NOTICED, they don't totally resemble. His hair is black!"
