AFTER LUNCH, the group stayed at the fair for a while longer before deciding to head home. once they arrived back to the boys' apartment complex, everyone went back to their own places. as they walked into his apartment, daniel grabbed mckinley's hand and pulled her up against him. he wrapped his arms around her and buried his face in her hair. "i love you," he mumbled. she giggled when he started kissing her neck, she tried to wriggle out of his grip. "stop daniel! that tickles!"

she finally pulled of his grasp but when he stated pouting, she pulled him into another hug. "will you sleepover tonight love?" mckinley pulled away to look at her boyfriend, "but i have shoot tomorrow daniel." he kissed her forehead and smiled, "you can leave in the morning. please please please!" the girl rolled her eyes and relented, "fine. i'll stay." he grinned and pulled her back in for another hug before kissing her softly.

"will you give me a t-shirt for the night," kin mumbled softly. "mhm," daniel took mckinley's hand, led her to his closet, and gave her a shirt to wear for the night. kin went to the bathroom to get changed, she put on the shirt daniel gave her and left on the athletic shorts she had worn to the fair. when she got out of the bathroom she found that daniel was already laying in bed. she  got under the covers and snuggled up to him. he put his arm around her shoulders and she lay her head in his chest. "goodnight love," kin said into daniel's chest. "goodnight, i love you," he responded.

daniel's breaths softened after that as he fell asleep. mckinley tried to as well but her mind was racing. despite all the fun she had had that day, all she really wanted to do was be with reece. his laugh, his smile, the jokes he made, they were all so wonderful. he was wonderful. mckinley knew she was catching feelings for reece which meant she would have to break up with daniel. she couldn't have feelings for another guy and still be in a relationship with daniel. she didn't know what to say or do. she knew that this would break him, but what choice did she have?
