REECE AND MCKINLEY walked down the beach, their hands tangled together. once they returned to their picnic spot, the couple removed their shoes and reece rolled up his pants. the two waded into the ocean together, splashing each other and having the time of their lives. reece admired the way the sun's orange light reflected on kinley's eyes. and mckinley saw how reece's smile shone in the golden glow of the evening. reece grabbed kin's hands and pulled her close to him.

they stood, shin-deep in the ocean water with a spectacular sunset serving as the backdrop. reece pushed a strand of hair out of mckinley's face and told her, "you truly are the most beautiful person i have ever met, inside and out." overcome with joy, mckinley closed the distance between her and reece and kissed him. it was a perfect moment, one she would remember forever.

after they got out of the water, the couple sat down on the picnic blanket to admire their view of the sunset. kinley laid her head on reece's shoulder and the two leaned into each other as they watched the sun set. "this was amazing," kin mumbled, "thank you for this." reece pulled away and faced mckinley. "of course kiki, you deserve this and so so much more." reece smiled at the girl and wiped away the happy tears falling down her face. the two leaned in and kissed. kin smiled against reece's mouth before breaking the kiss. she laid down in his lap, and continued watching the view as reece played with her hair.

reece noticed kinley was falling asleep on his lap and suggested they go home. he led her to the car and they started on the drive home. he held her hand as she slept in the car. she stirred halfway through the car ride, and sat up. "hey," she mumbled at reece who was glancing at her, "how far are we?" reece checked his phone, "about fifteen more minutes love." kin turned the radio on and began lightly singing along. the two spent the rest of the drive home that way, in complete bliss after the best night ever.

once they arrived home, reece walked kinley over to the room where the girls were staying. as he was sleeping with her in that room, reece promised to return later, after mckinley told scout and serenity everything about their date. "you know me so well," she told him before kissing him softly and entering the room. kin entered the room and saw scout and serenity waiting eagerly on the bed. "we heard you two outside," serenity explained. walking over to her friend, scout asked, "so? how did it go?"

kin sat her friend and sister down on the bed and rehashed the whole date. "it was amazing. he was so sweet and lovely and he makes me feel like the most beautiful person on earth. and just, i don't think i've ever been this happy." scout hugged her friend, "that's because you haven't been. even with daniel, you were never like this after a date. you're falling for this guy kinny pop, and i couldn't be happier for you."

taking her sister's hands, serenity commented, "she's right k, i've seen you crushing on guys since you were in middle school. and never has anyone been able to make you feel like this. i mean, you're actually glowing right now, i can't tell that you can't stop smiling." kinley flopped on the bed, reminiscing on her wonderful day. she heard a knock on the door and, after scout told the person to come in, reece appeared in the room. "are you guys done talking about me? because i'd really like to go to bed now." laughing, mckinley waved him in, and ended the perfect day asleep next to the boy she was falling for.
