No. 1

Idiots, really. Both of them.

It was so obvious they both had feelings for each other, too full of pride to admit it.

Matt found it amusing yet forever frustrating.

"You might have heightened senses, but you still get hurt normally, Matt." Stephen sighed, using his magic to stitch a large cut that went down Matt's back.

The vigilante smiled sheepishly, turning his head to look at Stephen, "I have heightened senses, not common sense."

Stephen chuckled, "you're starting to sound like Peter."

Matt tilted his head to the side, hearing as the front door of the sanctum was quietly opened. Stephen was still focused on stitching the wound on his back, not noticing as Matt identified who had just walked in.

This person wasn't a threat, heartbeat normal, the faint smell over Motor oil wafting off of him. Matt smiled as he recognized the man as Tony.

"You hear something?" Stephen asked.

Matt hummed, turning his head towards the open door as Tony rounded the corner, knocking against the wood.

"Hey Houdini- oh, hey Matt." Tony smiled at both of them before noticing that Stephen was still stitching Matt up. The vigilante quietly took note that Stephens heartbeat had picked up.

"You take Jessica's booze or something? That looks nasty." He quipped.

"Ha. Ha." Matt deadpanned as Stephen stifled a chuckle. "Just had some trouble with some guys at the docks."

"Did you need something, Tony?" Stephen asked.

No. 2

It took 2 months for Tony to wake up from his coma.

2 weeks after that, he began physical therapy for his injuries.

A few days after that, he started speech therapy for the brain damaged caused by using the infinity stones.

He stayed at the sanctum sanctorum, being cared for by Stephen Strange. Friends and family visited regularly, he even once saw the faces of James Barnes and Steve Rogers, the latter now being grey and old, telling stories of aunt Peggy.

Tony didn't really speak much.

The only times he really did were with his kids (Peter, Morgan, Harley, and Nebula, and of course his AI's), and with Stephen.

He tried not to let it show, but he always enjoyed when Stephen would simply sit and talk with him. The conversations were mostly one sided but neither man minded.

Tony often woke up screaming. It took a while to calm him down and Stephen ended up staying with him most nights.

He visited Natasha's grave often, sitting quietly with Clint or Stephen, sometimes just alone as he reminisced over his late friend.

He missed her. So so much.

No. 3

Stephen woke slowly, highly aware of the empty space next to him. As he opened his eyes, he let his left hand feel around the empty space next to him. The sheets were cold and he concluded the space there had been empty for a while.

Sitting up, he looked around the room, finding that he was alone.

He stretched, hearing his joins pop. I'm getting too old, he thought offhandedly. As his feet touched the cold wood, he heard the sound of dishes clattering together.

He walked out of his room and down the stairs, listening closely as he heard two separate voices.

"Hey pumpkin, what are you- wait no! Only half a cup, Hun."

He heard giggling, "dad this is half a cup."

Stephen rounded the corner to find..a mess.

The kitchen was cluttered with different utensils and cooking supplies, there was a huge spot on the floor where flower had obviously been spilt and not cleaned up.

At the counter, he looked at the two people standing there, backs turned to him.

Morgan was standing on a stool to help her reach the counter, specks of flower dotted on her shirt and shorts. She was attempting to balance a measuring spoon full of milk, slowly bringing it over to a mixing bowl.

Next to her stood Tony, wearing a black tank top and sleep pants. He was covered in much more flower than Morgan, already greying hair also having spots of the powder. He looked relaxed, at ease.

Stephen smiled at the scene before setting his face into something akin to mock-accusation.

He cleared his throat and both figures spun around to look at him. He raised on eyebrow, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Stephen! Hi, uh-" Morgan seemed to think her dads embarrassment hilarious, bursting into a fit of giggles, she hopped off the stool and bounded over to Stephen, arms raised to be picked up.

As Stephen took the girl into his arms, he looked over at Tony, laughing softly at his flushed face.

"Are you two causing trouble?" He asked.

"No."

"Yep."

Morgan and Tony looked at each other, having spoken at the same time.

"Dad wanted to cook for your birthday." Morgan whispered in his ear, loud enough for Tony to hear.

Tony gasped dramatically, putting a hand over his heart. "Traitor."

Stephen chuckled, holding Morgan on his hip as he pulled Tony to his chest, planting a kiss on the crown of his head.

Tony pulled back, one hand going to cup Stephen cheek, his expression suddenly turned solemn. "You know you can't always come here when things get bad."

Stephens smile faltered.

"I know."

"You need to let dad go, papa." Morgan said sadly.

Stephen turned to the girl, smiling softly as he kissed her forehead.

"Strange."

Stephen attempted to tune the voice out.

"Strange."

Stephens focus faltered, the walls around him wavering.

He was back in the real world.

Hey you should follow my instagram I'm literally just a shit poster

@/shafow10009

I really wanna yell about endgame but I've done enough of that with my friends but if you ask I'll shout my opinions from the rooftops

Also I am slowly getting the two parters done, it's just taking a while longer than I'd like

Also please please please don't post spoilers in the comments unless the chapter has a spoiler warning like this one

I'll probably lift that ban in a month or two longer.

Another commenting issue I have is when people put inappropriate jokes in the comments or things that just set me off. I will and have deleted comments such as that especially on sad chapters where people comment things that just irk me.

aNYWAY-

Have a nice day I'm trying to get some writing done
