NOT STEVE ROGERS FRIENDLY

—————

Reasons why Stephen shouldn't be left unsupervised for more than 48 hours

An angry note by Wong

Once Stephen was left alone at the Sanctum for a week and Wong came back to books thrown around the library and Stephen pacing back and forth, trying to remember every single spell in the book of Cagliostro. He didn't sleep for 4 days and Wong eventually got the Cloak to trap him to his bed till he fell asleep.

Another time, Peter came over and Stephen thought it would be a good idea to practice opening more than 4 dimensional gateways at a time. He passed out from exhaustion and Peter was freaking out.

This is just adding to list

"Hey," Tony Stark called up, forcing his best smile. Stephen turned to face the billionaire and smiled before he noticed how tense Tony looked. "Hi, you alright there short stack?" Tony rolled his eyes at the nickname and walked up the stairs of the Sanctum to reach Stephen.

"Yeah I'm alright, just needed away from the compound for a while. Harley and Peter are probably all thats keeping me sane right now, with the Rouges being there and all." Stephen hummed in response. He knew Tony was having issues with the Rouges being back and all, though he didn't exactly know why since the billionaire was very keen on keeping his secrets.

"Y'know, Bucky isn't all that bad. He's been very good about keeping distance between us but I've seen the footage of his therapy sessions. Rogers is what's the causing me the most trouble." Stephen raised a brow at Tony. "How come you have access to his therapy sessions?"

Tony smiled weakly. "I have to, Shuri and I are the ones working with getting rid of the triggers with my BARF tech. As smart as she is, stuff to do with the mind aren't really her area so she says my assistance is helpful." Stephen smiled at Tony. He truly was much more of a kind man than the media portrayed him as. Originally Wakanda had offered to keep Barnes for his treatment but Tony had insisted it would be easier for the soldier to stay at the compound, plus he had eyes all around if something were to go wrong.

"You still surprise me with how willing you are to house the Rouges." Stephen commenter. A more genuine grin spread on Tony's face and he winked at the Doctor. It wasn't a new gesture, they were always diving into casual flirting, throwing winks and suggestive statements back and forth, but it still caused a warm feeling to bubble in the sorcerers chest.

"Carol and Jess know how to shut them up if they get to rowdy. If things get too bad I always know I can call in my favourite Wizard to help me out." Tony quipped. Stephen felt a swell of pride and protectiveness wash over him, knowing Tony would call him for help and that he trusted Stephen to protect him caused a smile he could not erase.

"I'll put Captain Douchebag in his place if I need to. It's about time someone gives him a taste of reality." Tony snorted a laugh and looked out of the Sanctums window.

"Actually, I uh..kinda wanted to ask you if you could help me with something." Tony said. "I don't know if you could even really do anything but I figured it's worth a try." He shifted nervously from one foot to another, and he avoided Stephens gaze.
