Major character(s) death
Trigger warning: suicide
(Extremely short, this is what I meant when I said the shit I would write could turn out like this. Don't expect any other updates anytime soon. I might not even keep this chapter up)

This was it.
A single tear ran down Stephens cheek as he felt the last human soul left alive wither away.
He remembers the last thing his family had said to him.
"It's okay to let go." Wong.
"You're so stubborn, you know I love you for it." Tony.
"Uncle Ben would've liked you. I'll tell him about you and dad." Peter.
"You'll be okay." Christine.
They had all smiled.
Now here he was. The end of a world.
He wonders briefly if the ancient one ever saw this happening. He wonders if she would look at him now with disappointment or quiet understanding.
He tries to remember what it felt like to be in Tony's arms, what it felt like to be able to hear his heartbeat.
Everything feels too quiet as he summons a portal to the top of stark tower. The cloak detaches itself from Stephens shoulders and hovers in front of him.
Stephens smiles sadly at it and sinks down to the floor and conjures up a small fire. The cloak wraps one of its corners around Stephens wrist, hoping to give one last feeling of comfort.
Stephen rubs the worn fabric affectionately but nods his head in understanding.
"It's okay. I'm gonna miss you buddy." He whispers.
The cloak wipes away a fallen tear then slowly lowers itself into the flames.
Stephen stands back up with shaking legs and looks out over the rooftop.
The sun was setting. It was time for him to go.
There was no cloak to slow his fall, no suit of armor to make sure he landed safely, no babbling teenager to swing him to safety. There was no one left.
He looked up into the sky one last time and whispered brokenly.
"I'm sorry. I'm coming home."
The Sorcerer Supreme fell.
The end of a world.
