2| Yoongi

"Jisoo drank a little too much. She fell down and broke her tooth," Alice said quickly, a little self-conscious about her accent while speaking Korean.

"I don't think it's too bad... she just needs a lot of water and a dentist tomorrow," she added.

Jisoo chose that moment to come out of the bushes, wiping her mouth and looking very proud of herself.

"Look at my tooth, Yoongi! It's broken!" she said while flashing a smile at the boy, eyes closing while she beamed at him.

"And also, please don't tell mom that – that I puked on her flowers," she slurred, still smiling.

Her eyes were watery, her skin was greenish, and she had a little bit of vomit on her coat. Alice pitied the girl at that moment; she was a total mess.

The man at the door looked at his sister, lips pursing in a thin line.

"I see..." he conveyed with a sigh.

He didn't seem mad, just concerned and tired. He ran a hand through his white hair that looked so soft and Alice caught herself staring once again. Suddenly, the door opened wider and another head popped out of the hall. He was taller and had very broad shoulders, his shiny brown hair messy like he had just jumped out of bed, and plumped lip pouting at the scene.

"What's that noise?" he asked in a grumpy voice.

"Jisoo got wasted, broke her tooth, and threw up in the lilies," declared Yoongi, looking at his sister with disapproval, crossing his arms on his chest.

"Seriously? I was sleeping... well fine, I'm the elder, I got it," he announced, rubbing his eyes.

He opened the door completely, stepping outside to walk down the stairs. He arrived in front of the giggly girl and in one large sweep, threw Jisoo on his shoulder like a bag of potatoes. The girl started to wiggle and complain, but her brother did not let loose and took her upstairs in two strides. They both disappeared in the light of the vestibule and Alice heard Jisoo yell in indignation something about being mistreated by her own family. Yoongi let them in and quickly shut the door behind them without a look back.

Alice heard them talk with animation behind the closed door, but she couldn't hear what they were saying. She stayed in front of the house for a good ten seconds, like she was waiting for something to happen.

The vestibule light went out.

I guess that's it, she thought. At least Jisoo was in good hands.

Alice quickly turned her feet around and started to walk down the street. She was almost a block further when she heard him.

"Hey! Wait!"

Yoongi was jogging towards her, his hair silver-looking in the yellow light of the streetlamps. The girl stood there while he arrived at her level, putting his hands in the pockets of his jeans and looking at her with those dark impenetrable eyes.

He first took a deep breath before he started to talk.

"Thanks a lot for bringing Jisoo home... I doubt that you're a very close friend of hers because I never saw you before, but you still took care of her anyway. Not everyone would do that."

His cheeks were flushed from the run and the cool wind was pushing his hair back, exposing his forehead. In the low lighted street, his irises seemed black and his skin and hair, both as white as snow, seemed to glow. Alice thought he looked properly radiant.

"It's really no problem," answered the girl with a side smile, unconsciously biting her lower lip.

The boy smirked back at her and she suddenly felt a little nervous.
