"Taehyung are you listening?" Jimin asked, shaking his hand in front of the boy's eyes.

"What?" Taehyung mumbled, gaze still glued to his phone.

Since they had entered the mall, Taehyung's eyes had been stuck on his iPhone and Jimin was getting annoyed by his lack of sociability.

"Who are you texting anyway, let me see!"

He tried snatching the phone away from his friend, but Taehyung backed off to avoid him, bumping in a rack of clothes and the metal structure almost fell down.

"Hey, you! Be careful!" one of the employees exclaimed in a grumpy tone, crossing her arms on her chest.

Taehyung sent her an angry look, lethal glare directed at her, and the girl's face turned white before she quickly ran away in the backstore.

"Come on Tae," complained Jimin. "I have stuff to buy and I need your help. You know I hate shopping, but you're good at this."

Taehyung smirked at his friend.

"You need my help? Really? You always end up ignoring my advices and wearing leather and black anyway."

Jimin sighed.

"Why did you agree to come with me, if you don't even want to help?"

Taehyung's phone chimed again, announcing he had just received a notification, and this time, Jimin peeked at the screen before Taehyung could hide it.

"You're texting Megan?" he cried out, incredulous.

Taehyung didn't say anything, but quickly unlocked his phone, typing back an answer to the girl with a smirk on his lips.

"She laughed at me when I asked for her number on campus the other day. This girl gives absolutely no fucks! Are you sure you're not just texting yourself?" Jimin mocked.

"Maybe you just lost your game."

"Impossible. She must be gay or something. Clearly she's talking to you as some kind of joke."

Jimin was interrupted when Taehyung's phone started to ring, Sugar by Robin Schulz playing way too loudly in the store, making everyone stare. The blue-haired boy didn't even look at the screen when he answered.

"What's up?"

Jimin tried to hear who was talking at the end of the line but wasn't able to. He did notice, however, how Taehyung's expression fell a little bit more with every word, eyebrows screwing together in a frown as he looked down at his shoes.

"Yeah, yeah... I understand," he finally said, "I'll be there in ten minutes."

"You're leaving?" complained Jimin as soon as he hung up, "I didn't even buy anything yet!"

Taehyung sighed, putting back his phone in his pocket.

"You're a big boy, you can buy your underwear yourself now."

Jimin rolled his eyes, pouting like a child.

"Yoongi was the one calling," Taehyung added, "I really have to go, it's about what happened on the Sabbath night. It seemed urgent."

"Fine. Whatever. You were not really helping anyway."

Taehyung shrugged, already walking towards the door and Jimin stayed alone in the middle of the clothing racks, feeling a little lost. He looked around for something that he might like to wear, his gaze passing through the men clothes displayed on the white plastic mannequins. The elevator music and the artificial smells annoyed him deeply and after 5 minutes of looking around, he decided that it was time to give up.
