Namjoon shifted uncomfortably to face Hoseok. Everyone in the living room was completely silent, except for Jimin who was nervously clicking his fingernails against the wooden floor.

Click, click, click.

"Hoseok! What did you tell Juliet?" repeated Namjoon, more firmly this time.

"I talked to her about my childhood and my parents and all of you, I told her about our school and our jobs and our programs and where we were hanging out..."

"That's not good," whispered Namjoon, shaking his head, "and there is more."

"What? How can it be worse than this?" asked Yoongi who had been silent this whole time.

"She came at the University, that's where I met her," explained the leader, "I had one of these premonitions and I knew at the moment she touched me that she was a witch looking for trouble."

"Is she rotting in the bottom of the Han River?" asked Jimin, sounding slightly hopeful.

"Not exactly..." continued Namjoon, "I maltreated her a bit, but she managed to escape."

Alice suddenly understood everything.

"So that's why they felt so threatened!" she exclaimed.

"Threatened?" repeated Namjoon, "By who?"

As they were all looking at Alice, she took a deep breath.

"When I talked to Juliet, she told me we had three weeks before the rest of the coven would be here but..."

"Wait, you talked to Juliet too?" interrupted Namjoon.

"Yes, she's kind of a double agent, but that's not relevant," explained Megan.

"As I said," continued Alice, "they weren't supposed to come for at least three weeks, which was plenty of time for me and Megan to run away, but when Namjoon recognized Juliet as a witch and a member of my old coven, she felt threatened and came back to her leader to tell her that they were revealed and needed to act fast."

"That's why they put all those body parts in our bath! They felt threatened so they are threatening us in return," finished Megan, her eyes widening in understanding.

"There were body parts in your bath?" exclaimed Taehyung, his intimidating eyes darted on Megan.

"Don't worry, we burned the whole place down," said Jimin with a shrug.

"Wait, you did what?" blurted Namjoon, his eyebrows lifted so high that they were disappearing in his hairline.

"Yeah... it's a thing we do before we leave a place," said Megan, "so that we don't leave any traces behind... I would have loved to save the rest of the building, but Jimin got very enthusiastic and started to light everything on fire, so the whole place ended up burning. Luckily no one was hurt and the building was evacuated fast enough."

Megan was saying all of this with murderous eyes darted on Jimin, who was shrinking in his seat.

"So to clarify," said Jin, "a black coven is after Alice, and they sent a spy here, but now we found their spy, so they are coming right now instead of in three weeks and you two girls are running away?"

Megan looked at him with a blank expression.

"Something like that, I guess..."

"Wait, you can't leave!" proclaimed Namjoon. "What if when they come and Alice is not here, they just attack us instead?"

"They won't attack you," explained Alice, "they always follow me, and they don't care who I leave behind."

"Well..." started Megan, "this time I don't know Alice... maybe Namjoon is right."
