~
I woke up feeling horrible due to what happened to me last night.I looked over at Brent's bed and he was still sound asleep.I got up and began to walk towards the bathroom only to be frightened by loud pounding on the door.I slowly approached the door hoping that there wasn't trouble on the other side.I looked through the peep hole to see Tony & Trevor standing there fully clothed in beach wear, grinning from ear to ear.I took a sigh of relief & opened up the door and let them in.
"Hola, sleepy heads!Today is our first stop in the Bahamas!You guys have to get ready now so we can get off of the boat and go do all the activities."Tony screamed, happily.
"Do we have to go?"Brent said turning over in his sleep.
"Yes, nigga.All of us are going so get up and meet us in our room in an hour."Trevor pulled the sheets off of Brent and waited for him to get up.He grunted and sat up in his bed.
"Alright, we won't be long.Bye, you guys."They finally left and I shut the door.
"I'm sorry about them, you can continue to sleep if you want."I said timidly, turning my attention towards Brent.He rubbed his eyes and replied.
"Nah, I'll go.They already paid for me.And besides, today may actually be fun hanging out with you - just like old times."He smiled and walked past me entering the bathroom.I was speechless.Was the old Brent - that I knew - coming back?
We both got ready and met Tony & Trevor in their room.
"Alright guys, lets go!I brought my Nikon because I've heard how beautiful it is.I can't wait to be on the beach, this is going to be so fun!"Tony exclaimed.
We walked down to the bottom deck and exited the boat and ventured onto the island.Trevor and Brent were walking in front of me and Tony.
"So, girl, where were you last night?You missed dinner."The memories from last night started to fill my head.
"I was too drunk so I went back to my room and went to sleep.I'm sorry for missing dinner, I won't miss it tonight, though."I assured her.
"Hm, okay.How are you and Brent?I've noticed that you guys aren't going for each other's necks anymore."She laughed to herself.
"We're fine, I guess.We're just being cordial to each other."I shrugged.
"That's great, I want you guys to enjoy this trip as much as me and Trevor will."Tony smiled at me.
I wish I could tell her what happened last night, but I just couldn't.Maybe one day I will, but it won't be today.
We found a trolley to board to take us the Atlantis.It was the biggest hotel on the island and I've heard that it was beyond beautiful.I sat alone & stared out of the side of the trolley.I felt a presence beside me that caught my attention.
"You stay doing things by yourself."I looked at Brent and rolled my eyes.
"Whatever, my only friend is Tony and she's busy sucking faces with her Trevor so I just keep to myself."I replied.
"Well, I'm here now.I wanna catch up on things with you."I looked at Brent and shrugged.
"Nothing's really been happening with me, I'm a nurse now and I have a beautiful home, but that's about it, I guess."Brent laughed causing my cheeks to heat up.
"That's amazing, I'm happy for you.I just expected more, but its whatever."I smiled a little.
"What's been going on with you?"I asked.
"Well, I make music now, I was on the billboards for weeks at a time, I've been traveling a lot and I've been chilling with my girl back at home."I nodded.
"That's great, I'm happy for you."It kind of broke my heart to hear that he had a girlfriend, but I probably didn't have a chance anyways.
"You have to meet her one day."Brent said out of the blue.I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Oh no, I wouldn't want her to feel like I was intruding on anything.That's -"Brent lightly grabbed my chin and made me face him.
"Relax."We both started laughing,"You don't have to meet her, but I do want you to come to my wedding."I felt my heart break even more.
"S-Sure, I would love to."
"Great, now, enough about that.Let me enjoy this trip with my beautiful best friend."I smiled at his compliment.
Man, am I catching feelings for him again?
