Knock, knock.

I groaned internally, slumping back in my seat again.

Of course we're interrupted.

I don't know, maybe it's just someone coming to drop something off, and them they'll leave and Brian and I can carry on with our enlightening conversation.

That's what I'd hoped for.

Of course that wasn't what I'd gotten.

Instead, we'd been gatecrashed by eight idiots who decided to come and be dicks.
Although they did bring food so I guess I can forgive them. And it's good food.

I knew about half of the said idiots, and one of the few I didn't know made a great first impression by marching up to us and whacking my companion around the head.

I mean, it's one way to greet someone.

Brian recoiled, and glared menacingly up at the standing teenager, who shrugged and mumbled something under his breath.

"That's what you get for eating my cheese."

I couldn't help but laugh, earning a strange look from Brian and the newcomer. Looking at them closely, I could clearly see the resemblance.

This was Brian's little brother, Jisung.

I introduced myself weakly through my laughs, and hardly noticed the worried way in which he looked at me and then the questioning face he pulled towards Brian.

Ten minutes later, the rest of them had swarmed in and lounged across the floor.

At my feet was Jeongin, a cutie with a wide smile and a happy character. He was obviously the youngest, considering how the others babied him- especially Hyunjin, who I'd known before from his frequent visits to the record shop and was sitting next to the youngest on the hard oak floor.

Chan's head lay across my lap, which was fairly awkward because he's my boss, and I half expected him to ask me to take up another shift.

Brian was still spread out lazily next to me, with his arm around his brother who was holding hands with some guy named Minho, and Dowoon, Wonpil, Sungjin, Felix, Seungmin and Changbin were squashed up on the other sofa, creating quite a comical scene as they all looked equally as uncomfortable.

The television blared in the corner of the room, but no one payed attention to it. We all scoffed food and laughed and played games until the early hours of the morning, by which time all of us but Jeongin were pretty wasted from truth or dare.

Eventually we all fell asleep on top of each other, splayed between legs and on elbows, with creased blankets messily thrown over us. My eyes closed to the warm orange glow seeping through the crack in the red blackout curtains, with Brian's arm around me and my head resting on his shoulder.
