Jae spent the entirety of the taxi ride to his friends boasting to Younghyun with everything he could muster up about LA. His eyes shone in the late afternoon sunlight like honey and molten gold.

Younghyun barely listened, too caught up in Jae's excitement and how happy he seemed to pay attention to the endless babbling.

Their hands lay on top of each other between them on the middle seat. Younghyun realised this and, cutting Jae off mid rant, enlaced their hands together. Jae's cheeks dusted pink but he didn't spare the younger a glance, knowing that that's exactly what he was aiming for- a reaction.

So Jae carried on, telling stories and drama from his teenage years as Younghyun tried to devise a new way to grab Jae's attention.

He tried rubbing the palm of his hand with his thumb, but the other paid no heed.

He kissed the back of it, but that just earned him a swat in the face.

He then smirked as a new idea popped into his head. This one would work for sure.

He grinned, sneaking a look at Jae beside him. He was staring out the window, humming to himself and still pointing out various things as they rolled by. His hand bent at an awkward angle to where Younghyun held it. Younghyun flicked out his tongue and licked Jae's ring finger, trying desperately to hold in his laugh. Before Jae could process what had happened, he felt Younghyun suck his finger into his mouth.

Jae yelped, rearing back. This earned a strange look from the driver.

"What the fuck was that for? You dirty little shit I was trying to educate you on the wonders of L.A!!" He yelled angrily in Korean.

Younghyun chuckled, "I thought we agreed to only speak in English."

Rolling his eyes, Jae argued, "The driver already thinks we're insane, as if I was going to yell out that you started sucking my finger. He wouldn't even pull over to kick us out, just open the doors onto the main road. Initiative, Brian." He tapped his own head twice and then sighed. With a start, he realised that they'd passed the house whilst the two had been bickering.

"Excuse me, could you drop us here please?" He spoke through the microphone to the driver, who nodded and swerved to the curb, grinding to a stop.

Jae rushed out, too hot in the stuffy cab and waited impatiently for Younghyun to stumble over their bags only to knock it all out into the pavement. "Oh you idiot," Jae mumbled, bending down to pick up the bags. The driver in the front rolled his eyes at the stupid foreign kids. This was worse than the hooker from last week.

Eventually Younghyun got out in one piece and Jae stood with all of their bags clustered in his arms, "You gonna take some or what?" He said, gesturing to their luggage. Younghyun obliged, although unwillingly.

"I don't know why you packed so much, Jae. We're coming for four days."

"Um, excuse me. Now that we're here, we're meeting up with my old school friends and I need to boast to them about how I'm more successful than them! When we were younger they used to tease me because I apparently had no talent well look now! And also I brought gifts because I'm a kind person," Jae pointed out, to which Younghyun only rolled his eyes.

"Fine, but you carry your stuff, I'll carry mine." He took one bag from the older, leaving Jae with a suitcase and two huge backpacks.

"Hey! At least take this! It has some of your stuff in too!"

Younghyun scoffed, "Yeah, like my toothbrush." The glare he got from Jae was enough to make him crumble. He groaned and took one of the rucksacks, flinging it over his shoulder.

"So, how exactly did you find my parents?" Jae questioned.

"I already told you," said Younghyun, "I spoke to some of my friends and they went investigating."

"You know you've met five of my friends from here? Did it not cross your mind to just text them?"

He thought for a second, "Fuck- you're right."

Jae scoffed, "Of course I'm bloody right. Come on, it's this one." They approached the house, modern and decent in size with a cool front porch and a balcony.

"Well, look who it is!" Woosung's voice yelled from the front door. He ran out to greet them, his bare feet curling against the cold ground.

"Alright Sammy?" Jae high-fived his while Younghyun shook his hand, not quite at that level of friendship with the kid.

"I'm glad to see you two finally got it on," Sammy teased, "I presume Jae was shocked." That was when it sank in how long it's been since they saw him.

"It was a joke, I knew the whole time," Jae explained, and Sammy's face switched to one of betrayal.

"It's been fucking two years and you only now tell me that?! Top ten anime betrayal right there." He laughed, a warm sound that echoed through his house as he led the two in. "Your room is first on the left, try not keep quiet, I want to sleep at least a bit whilst you two are here."

Jae and Younghyun spluttered, turning their heads away from the centre of the room as their cheeks flushed red. Sammy chuckled, watching the entertainment whilst he finished his popcorn.

"Oh and condoms are in the top draw," he added, smirking devilishly as Younghyun hid his head in his hands and Jae yelled. The eldest aimed a swat at him but Sammy dodged, running off into another room with his popcorn.

"This is going to be eventful..." Jae sighed, trying to hold back a laugh. Just as annoying as usual.
