Younghyun had been peacefully drinking a cup of coffee when the text came through on his phone. Needless to say, that coffee was now all over the bedsheets.
He scrambled for his phone after putting the now half empty mug down and squinted drowsily at the screen, rereading every single letter of that name and birthdate.
Fuck no. It can't be. Is it really him?
Don't get me wrong, Younghyun had started developing a crush on Jae a while ago- when they first started video-called on Instagram to be specific- so the news that they were soulmates was incredible, extraordinary, unbelievable and supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, but.... how stupid can a person be?
It's not that Jae wasn't smart in terms of academics, more just he was a bit - how would one put this lightly? - naive... dim? Something like that?...
Was Younghyun offended that Jae forgot his full, real name? Yes.
Was he hoping for more from his soulmate? Well, kind of.
Was he going to let it ruin some fun? Absolutely not.

Immediately Younghyun let a grin crack across his face and immediately opened up a new chat with Wonpil and Dowoon . He knew he wouldn't see it till morning, but he couldn't risk Jae getting to them first.

He then sent a similar message to Jisung and Youngjae, letting them relay it on to their group of friends. He needed to get to Jae's school friends too, and with a bit of searching through Jae's follower list on Instagram, found all of them plus Hyejin.
He messaged them all within the space of five minutes, his thumbs aching from typing each message individually.
Finally, he lay back down to get a good night's rest.
