The grilling sound of a text coming through on my phone jolted me awake. I rubbed at my eyes, trying to get rid of the pain on my eyelids that said 'go back to sleep it's too early for this shit.'

I eventually figured out that that wouldn't work and gave up, dropping my hands from my eyes and huffing. I finally reached over to my phone, which had been pinging non stop for the last few minutes. As I got up, however, it was then that I noticed the arm draped around my shoulder.

Slowly, I looked down.

The events of last night came reeling back to me, and how I'd been too tired to make my guest sleep separately to me. Dammit Jae.

Once I'd quickly thrown on a t-shirt and joggers, I took to the task of waking him up.

I shook his shoulders, going on and on until Brian eventually burst awake, his eyes wide and unfocused before he saw me and instantly fell back on the bed and covered his eyes.

He grumbled out an incoherent curse and turned away from me.

Rolling my eyes, I slapped his arm, "Hey!"

He looked over his shoulder and peered at me through one eye. "What."

"Get up you idiot!"

Wincing at my loud tone, Brian rolled over yet again with a very drowsy "Leave me alone."
I huffed and left the room, walking to the cupboard where we kept first aid and grabbed some painkillers and some water before making my way back.

I peered into Wonpil's room, but he wasn't there. And judging by how the bathroom door was slightly ajar- when I know full well he always locks it- I'd say he wasn't  even home.

I placed the medication down by the side of the bed and dropped down onto my pillow, pulling out my phone and scrolling through Instagram.

I looked at the infinite number of posts tagged #soulmate and sighed. 3 days. That's how long until I turned 21 and found out who I was destined to spend the rest of my life with.

I'll probably never meet them to be honest. There's a huge chance they live on the other side of the world, and having a name and birthday isn't much to go by when it comes to finding them.

I don't think I'm the sort of person to go and actively search for their soulmate- I don't want to be held down by the idea that my soulmate should be my main focus. Then again, as I get older I would want to spend it with someone rather than be alone.

I glanced over at Brian, who after taking his pills had fallen straight back asleep. His mouth was opened slightly and his silver hair was a chaotic mess on top of his head. I could see a tiny part of his stomach peeking out from under my t-shirt. In that moment, I couldn't help but admit that he was kind of cute.
