"Turn left."

"Wait no that was right."

"Actually it was left."

I sighed in defeat anxiety building up at Billie's awful direction skills, I mean how hard is it to read a gps?

"Let me see." I groaned trying to lean over to look at the glowing light of her phone the sight being taken away before I could even take a glance "No!" "Keep driving don't look away from the road." She scolded her eyes squinted at the screen mixed with confusion.

I leaned closer towards the steering wheel of the car once I caught sight of an area with a ton of traffic the closer I drove the more people I saw walking down the streets the sight dawning on me once I caught sight of the huge ass arena completely in my view.

How the hell had I not seen that before?

"That's it!" I gleamed catching Billie's attention her head quickly snapping up to look at what I was pointing at "Oh.." She mumbled slightly confused as to how she hadn't seen the huge building herself, I laughed slightly shaking my head the overwhelming amount of people itching at my anxiety as I drove around it.

My shoulders jumped at the erupt sound of Billie's phone ringing quickly turning my head to look at her as she answered it.

"How the fuck are we supposed to get in here fin?" She sighed leaning herself down into the chair as people walked down the streets my eye catching sight of the big sign hung up at the entrance of the building my breathing catching in my throat over Billie's name boldly spelled across the picture.

My heart pounding faster the realization that this really wasn't a joke hitting me, I was really here right now, how the fuck did I get myself in this situation?

"Finley pull around the back and park the car we'll have to run to the suv waiting for me." She told me interrupting the person on the other line of her conversation the pounding in my chest only beating faster "B-But the people." I stuttered parking the car around the back completely noticeable if anyone was to take a glance "They won't see it's fine." She smiled assuringly hanging up the phone after a soft goodbye.

I felt the panicking of the situation build up, there were too many people here. Maybe I should just not go in... she won't be mad.. right?

"I uh.. I don't think I can go in there." I breathed my brothers keys I held tightly in my hand jingling as my hands shook in fear, Billies eyebrows furrowed her hands gripping the handle of the car door seconds from opening it before I nervously spoke.

"What?" She asked in confusion my cheeks heating up in embarrassment shaking my head "I just.. there's a lot of people here." I told her getting a chuckle I'm response "Hey dude, it's okay don't even think about it you're totally safe." "I got you." She smiled a hitched breath passing my lips at her hand slightly brushing across my shoulder in reassurance.

I nodded exiting the car with anxiety squinting at the black Cadillac Escalade off in the distance, a hand grasped mine sending butterflies to my stomach I blushed at her fingers interlaced with mine trying to keep up with her as we both ran across the parking lot.

I'm really doing this, I'm really doing this, oh my god I'm really doing this.

Billie panted after I was practically shoved into the black Escalade my wide curious eyes searching around the car practically yelping when a head popped around the passenger seat "Jesus fuck Billie forty minutes late!?" "You missed rehearsal, you missed everything leading up to the show over a fucking argument, mom is pissed." The guy spat at her that I soon realized was Finneas her brother.

Argument? I thought she said the bus broke down.

I sucked in a breath at the tension a hand rested at my knee calming my nerves slightly "I made it didn't I?" She scuffed rolling her eyes at her brothers attitude "Who are you?" His voice snapped my eyes suddenly looking up to meet his intimidated by the look he gave me. Is this whole family just intimidating as hell?

"I-I um.." I stuttered my cheeks tingling in embarrassment "This is Finley, she helped me get here." "What's your problem Fin?" "Quit being a dickhead." She sighed her hand squeezing my leg softly.

My eyes stayed focused on the window trying my best to erase myself from the tension and awkwardness I felt sitting in the car, my heart still thumped rapidly as if I was on the verge of a damn heart attack.

I swear to god if Alex bothers me anymore about needing to 'get out of the house' I'll literally lose it, this is enough social interaction to last a life time.

"You okay mamas?" Billies voice asked softly breaking me out of my trance I gave her a slight smile nodding my head the feeling of her fingers lightly tapping against my knee distracting me from the craziness surrounding me.

Everything felt like a blur, the feeling reminded me of the kind of drowsiness you feel after taking an allergy pill, like my head and body was spaced out, like I was living outside of my body.

Her name was screamed loud enough to blow out ear drums and it only got louder as I followed her out of the car and into the building, the screaming was muffled up until we got closer the rumbling of screams so loud that my heart matched the rhythm.

I watched everything happen in a blink of an eye all of this was so foreign and crazy but it was nothing to Billie, she was used to it but I sure as hell wasn't.

She turned to me after talking to people around her barley catching a word over the loud sounds echoing around me, she smiled her hand gripping mine in a tight grip as she placed something into her ear taking a step closer "I have to go out there but I want you to stay here and watch from right there okay?" She told me raising her voice to be able to be heard my stomach twisting in knots at the thought of being left alone.

I only nodded in agreement letting her hand slip from mine and watch her run off towards her brother the two exchanging words before walking out together the screams growing louder and louder.

"Austin, how are you guys tonight." Her voice chuckled over the microphone sending goosebumps up and down my arms, I sucked in a breath watching every movement she took an unexplainable bright smile on her face showing how happy she looked.

Everything about this girl was mesmerizing, she took my breath away and I hadn't even heard her sing yet..
