"Venti Frappuccino for Finley!" A voice called causing Finley's cheeks to turn a rosy pink quickly walking towards the drink to grab the icy coffee her hands shaking nervously from all the people in the small Starbucks.

She felt as if everyone's eyes were on her when they weren't, the constant feeling of being on the edge with anxiety enough to make her go crazy, she decided on the seat closest to the corner of the small Starbucks so she was able to at least feel like she was hiding away from existence her feet were brought up onto the chair slightly making her look smaller than what she already is.

Her eyes were focused down onto her sketch pad drawing as a distraction from the people around her the thin piece of paper and colored pencils drowning away the existence of everyone else, at least until she looked up again.

Grabbing at her phone she places the connected ear buds into her ears shuffling a playlist already made up by the app itself she couldn't name any of the artists she listen to from it if she tried, Finley wasn't the best with social media it made her anxious and only let her self esteem drop even more she found it amazing in some ways but damaging in others and either way she didn't want to be apart of it.

Sketching was her way of connecting with the world in some way, instead of scrolling through feeds liking the photography of other people she drew it instead, it was more fun and had more of a connection than some retina display screen.

Slowly sipping through her drink and sketching through her book she hadn't realized how much time had passed the small Starbucks was now nearly empty except the business man lost in his laptop, the sun outside began to create a glow meaning it had to be early evening. Her eyes widened reaching to grab her phone to check for any texts from her brother but there wasn't one. Not even a check in text.

He sure did mean it when he said was gonna be awhile. Asshole. She grumped to herself letting out an annoyed huff while tapping her nails against the table letting her eyes search over the place.

It wasn't until later when she realized she had gone off into her own daze when a hand slapped down onto her table causing her to jump "Dude, like I swear to god I don't mean to bother you but where the fuck am I?" A raspy feminine voice boomed scaring the living shit out of Finley as soon as she looked up meeting eyes with icy orbs.

Her heart pounded against her rib cage at the stranger looking over the girl about her age or a little older her hair a purplish black that sat up in two little buns, other pieces framing her face perfectly.

"Uh.. um Starbucks?" She answered in a stutter her eyebrows furrowed in confusion at the girl that wore baggy clothes that some how suited her and chains that clinked together every slight movement she took.

Finley's eyes widened slightly when the stranger laughed arching a brow "Bitch, no like the city." She chuckled earning a slight blushing smile from the brunette her fingers fiddling together "Oh um.." "Clifton, this is Clifton." She responded earning an reaction from the strange girl immediately "Fuck, how far is Austin from here?" She sighed stressfully her fingers tapping against the table Finley sat at causing her eyes to draw down to the large rings on the girls fingers.

"Uh.. I don't know maybe two hours thirty minutes?" Finley responded unsure herself.

Finley's eyes watched the girl let out a loud sigh her hand reaching up to mess with her hair out of habit, she wasn't sure on what to say, the girl was strange to say the least and her attitude fit with her strangeness too.

The blonde continued to look up at the girl that twitched her head to the side a sigh soon following after "Are you okay..?" Finley questioned almost wondering if the girl was on something but quickly shaking the thought at how normal she sounded when she spoke.

"Yeah.." "Shit, I've just got to be somewhere really fucking important in like three and a half hours and I'm stranded here." She sighed her necklaces clinking together as she sat down in the chair across from Finley her leg bobbing under the table anxiously making the blonde nervous.

"Why are you stranded?" Finley asked softly nervousness building up in her stomach over the stranger, she felt intimidated just by her glances alone.

The girl sighed dramatically bringing her hand to her face softly "My bus broke down back in Dallas so I took a rental thinking I could get here by the time the bus was fixed, only for my dumbass rental to blow a fucking tire." "That shit was like random as fuck, I was just driving and 'poof' there goes the tire." She explained causing Finley to giggle at her explanation.

"I would help.. I just don't know how to change a tire.." The blonde sighed waiting for the stranger across from her to speak taking in details of the girls face.

Finley couldn't help but stare, the girl is undeniably beautiful she found her definitely unique there wasn't anything average about her.

"Nah, it's okay." "I'll just figure it out I guess." She sighed giving the table one last tap before standing up "Thanks for the help though...?" She trailed her finger pointing in the blondes direction as if asking what her name was.

"Finley." She squeaked nervously cursing herself for sounding so small, she felt the blush rush to her cheeks when the girl smiled her eyebrows creasing slightly "Right thanks, Finley." She breathed turning to walk away from the table and just like that she watched the girl disappear out of the Starbucks and down the street.

With a sigh Finley ran a hand through her hair her heart racing from the small conversation, she couldn't remember the last time she talked to a stranger and that one was definitely something.

The sun had already began to set and so were her nerves, she felt as if she had enough social interaction for the day and needed to go home yet her brother was still out taking his damn time doing god knows what leaving her here to just sit and wait so she decided to get up from the same spot she had been siting for hours and take a walk outside, she wasn't going to lie it was enjoyable to get out every once in a while she just wished it wasn't alone every time.

"Hey!" "You!" "Fiona!" A familiar voice called causing Finley to turn on her heels her eyes widening watching the same girl from earlier rushing in her direction "I-It's Finley." She muttered politely eyeing the girl that stood maybe a foot taller than her "Right, Finley I knew that." "See I can't get this shit fixed until tomorrow and apparently there's no such thing as Uber here, I've seriously got to be somewhere in three hours, like seriously, seriously." She explained her eyes growing bigger after every seriously making Finley wonder where the hell she needed to be that was so 'serious.'

"Do you have a car?" The girl hoped bouncing on her shoes that were interesting to say the least, up until now Finley had only realized her attire to be overly expensive everything she wore screamed money "My brother does." She answered biting down on the inside of her cheek hesitant to yank herself back when the girl inched forward "Yes!" "Can I use it??" "It'll only be tonight I swear I'll pay you!" "I'll pay you." She smiled with hope.

"I-I don't know.." Finley sighed looking around nervously, she didn't know this girl and there wasn't anything indicating her intentions were completely innocent either "I don't know you." She continued her eyes widening at the girls whine bouncing on her heels like a child "Dude pleaseee." "I'll pay you like $7000 just pleaseee." She begged her arms folding together, Finley was surprised the girl hadn't gotten on her knees yet and begged.

Finley fiddled her fingers together anxiously as the girl waited for a response a soft sigh of relief leaving her lips when Finley nodded "Okay.. but I have to call my brother." She sighed earning a nod in response "Yeah, yeah totally." "Dude you're a fucking angel, thank you."
