AN- I absolutely love Lauren's new song!!! No idea how many times I've played it at this point, but it's a lot XD So, you guys requested more Laurisa, and I'm delivering, sort of...
Also, I messed up the timeline of birthdays and such, so let's just ignore when Lauren's birthday is okay...

Lauren's POV

Mom drove Dani and I home with her, so we could change and rest a little. I showered and laid in my bed for a few minutes, exhausted from the last 24 hours. I look over at my wall of photos. More than half of them have Lisa in them.

A picture of us two at my birthday party catches my eye, and I stand up to get a closer look. It's one of my favorites because we didn't even know we were being photographed at the time. We are sitting in the grass, side by side. I am laughing at something she said, and she has the biggest smile on her face.

I remember what happened immediately after that, Dani came running in and laid across our laps, proud of herself. Lauren and I had both got the wind knocked out of us, while Dani laughed hysterically. We both started to tickle her, and it ended up being a tickle war, with all of us rolling around on the ground laughing after.

I miss when things were that simple. When all of us were happy. The me in that picture had no idea what would happen. Even if Lisa gets better, how do we know she won't do it again?

How are we going to trust her again, keep from being terrified if she doesn't answer her phone, panic when she even looks like she's had a bad day. It just hurts so much...

I take out my phone and text Ty.

L: You busy?

T: No? Why

L: I need to get my mind off Lisa for a while, can we meet somewhere?

T: Sure how about the park on Road Street.

L: Okay, meet you there.

I slip my phone in my pocket and head downstairs. My mom is on the couch in the living room, and I tell her I'm going to meet a friend and leave. The park isn't too far away from here, so I decide to walk.

Soon enough, I'm there. I sit on a bench to wait, and that's when I realize I forgot to eat lunch. Whatever, there is probably a food truck around here somewhere.

I am looking at a bird to my right, when someone taps me on the shoulder. My head snaps to look at my left. A grinning Ty is sitting beside me on the bench.

"Did I scare you?" He asks with a smirk

"Just surprised me." I answered, refusing to be embarrassed.

"Okay Princess, whatever you say. What do you want to do?"

"Well, I don't know about you but I'm starving. Want to find a food truck or something?"

"Sure, I could go for some food."

We get up, and as we are walking around to find something to eat, it occurs to me that I barely know this boy. We literally met in a hospital alley late last night. It's weird that I feel so comfortable around him, especially because he seems a bit rough around the edges.

We find food, and he gets a hotdog while I get a grilled chicken wrap. We find a convenient bench to sit on, and eat our food. We make a little small talk, he starts cracking jokes about the people walking by us, making up ridiculous stories such as, "I bet that man just got fired from the circus and is going to get revenge, see that box in his hands, I bet it has pie in it. He will throw it in his boss' face for sure," he keeps a completely straight face until we both burst into laughter.

It feels good to laugh, the past day has been so dark, and a bit of laughter helps a lot. We eventually finish our food, and just start walking. I ask him a few questions and he asks me some too, and pretty soon I know his favorite song, birthday, and favorite color, and he knows mine.

I check my phone, and am surprised to discover that it's been a few hours already. I reluctantly look up again, "I should probably be getting back. My family will be getting curious soon." He nods, and replies, "Okay Lauren, text me whenever okay? I'll see you soon."

I smile at him and we both walk away. I make it home to find my mom sleeping on the couch. I put a blanket over her, and walk upstairs. Dani is playing some game with Joey, and she smiles at me when I walk by. I make it to my room, and sit on the bed. I wonder, how are my other sisters are doing?
