*Kane's POV*

Sawyer had agreed to come back to New York with me and try modeling again. My team handled all the legalities of the case against Sawyer's last manager and got Sawyer out of her contract. It didn't take more than a few weeks before she had been lined up with a new manager who had seemed to be very organized. Sawyer had been so nervous for our engagement photos that I was sure she was going to wear a hole in the rug when she had been pacing the apartment earlier.

We had been greeted and ushered into a dressing room when we arrived. Sawyer nervously bounced her leg as we waited for her new stylist to come in. Getting up from my chair, I walked over and spun her around in the chair. Placing my hands over her knees, stopping them from bouncing, I leaned in and kissed her.

"It's gonna be alright - " I tried calming her

"I know." She let out a shaken breath

" - because this time, it'll be on our terms." I reassured

It wasn't long after that her new stylist arrived and began brushing out Sawyer's hair while they spoke. Her new manager stood in the doorway and reassured Sawyer that if she didn't like how something was going that she only had to say the word and they'd stop. I pulled the stylist aside and slipped her the tip to put Sawyer in something more true to her style back in Georgia if possible.

After hair and makeup, Sawyer was dressed in a mostly New York fashion, but in a pair of jeans that she liked. I stood back behind the photographer as they snapped a few photos for her manager to use in a portfolio. Sawyer looked nervous and she struggled to relax. I called for a stop to the shoot and saw the panic cross Sawyer's face until I walked around the camera. I slipped off my denim jacket and helped her slide it on. I kissed her forehead and pulled back when we heard the click of the camera.

"Sorry! Was a perfect shot!" the photographer smiled

Once back in place, the shoot went well. Sawyer began to relax and I smiled, watching her work. My manager walked in and called me back to the dressing room as I prepared for Sawyer and my engagement photos. As I followed my manager down the hall, I stopped to pop my head into Sawyer's dressing room, double checking to make sure her navy blue dress had made it and was her next outfit. I had also ordered that the double doors to the sunroom in the house in Georgia be brought up and mounted onto a door frame for the set.

Once dressed, I helped the staff get the doors into place, wanting them to be perfect for Sawyer. They set up lights and plants behind it. Taking a step back, I smiled. Perfect. My manager grabbed my arm and dragged me over to where the staff had set up a set for me. I followed directions as they took some pictures, but was lost for words when Sawyer walked out in the Navy blue dress.

The photographer snapped continuous pictures of my reaction as she came over. He snapped more of me smiling at her and giving her a big kiss. She pulled away and went to her calling manager. I focused back on my photographer until I heard the gasp come from across the room.

*Sawyer's POV*

I stood staring at the set before me. I reached my hand out, brushing my fingertips over the white doors. I was speechless as I looked them over, every detail there. There was no way these were remakes. These were the real doors from the house down in Georgia. The place where everything started. I looked over at Kane to see him duck his head, trying to hide his smile. He just kept giving me more than I could ask for.

The photographer helped position me as we went through our individual photos. We moved through several sets that were set up for us. The photographer took pictures of the engagement ring on my hand. Then came time for our couples photos. To say I was nervous was an understatement. These would be the photos that would hit the media tomorrow announcing our official engagement. It made everything feel real.
