*Sawyer's POV*

I squinted as my eyes opened, wondering why I was awake at such an early hour. I was newly married and I thought that that was enough to deserve a few extra minutes of sleep. I rolled over onto my stomach, pulling the covers closer. A sleepy smile pulled at my lips as I felt light kisses peppering the back of my neck and shoulders. I squirmed away, sleep calling to me. Hearing Kane's laugh, I huffed and pouted.

"Just a few more minutes of sleep." I pouted

"We already slept in. An' we've got things to do today." Kane groggily said as he got up.

"I'm your wife. What I say goes, and I demand more sleep." I yawned, sticking my arm up in the air as if that would help my point.

"I don't think that's how it works." Kane laughed, "An' you wouldn't wanna leave decoratin' the house and openin' the weddin' presents up to Emmeryse, would you?"

I sat up, throwing the covers off the bed and raced into the bathroom of our room, rushing to brush my hair out. Kane laughed as he opened his suitcase, getting ready for the day. Instead of a normal honeymoon, we had opted for the wedding party to come out and help us move into our new house. All had happily agreed, but first we had to check out of the hotel. We took our suitcases down with us to breakfast. Everyone was down there. I joined them as Kane checked us out and returned the keys.

"We were wondering if you two were going to sleep the day away." One of Kane's band members teased.

"With how tired you were last night." Another teased, leaning his head on his hand and pretending to snore.

"I do not snore!" I defended, blushing.

"Ignore them. We can always get a noise machine to cancel out your cute snoring." Kane joked

"Oooh!" The group laughed

"Guess we better find a good couch today since he'll be sleeping on it tonight." Emmeryse smiled

After grabbing breakfast, Kane and I climbed up in his truck with Emmeryse and Alex in the back while the others took their cars. Kane and I had most of the furniture picked out and it was going to the house that morning to be delivered. We drove into Atlanta, hitting up the furniture stores that had the last pieces we needed for the house, which just happened to include a couch. We also picked up toiletries and other things that we would need for the house and bathrooms.

Pulling up through the drive way, we parked Kane's truck inside the garage while the others parked in the driveway behind the large delivery truck. Hoping out, everyone helped carry in the bags from Kane's truck. It had been everyone's' first glimpse of the house. It was bare for the moment but would soon be filled.

Kane kissed my forehead, "Alright Mrs. Brown. Tell us what to do."

"Thought you said that doesn't work like that." I crossed my arms

"This once we can make an exception." Kane smiled

I instructed the delivery men on which room each piece went in. None of it had a specific order so I was running up and down the stairs, chasing after them to tell them how to position things. Kane and his groomsmen handled getting the washer and dryer hooked up and setting up Kane's gym in the basement. My bridesmaids helped with the decor and helped keep track of what wedding presents I opened when I wasn't chasing after the delivery men.

*Kane's POV*

Sawyer was well out of breath by the time we finished. She had ran up and down the stairs more than twenty times, if I had to guess. While we had stopped for lunch, she kept going in between bites, opening presents and writing down what they were. As we finished dinner, I had one of my groomsmen run out to my truck and sneak a wedding present into the house, placing it ontop of the pile of opened presents.

"Hey Sawyer. I think we missed one of the presents." Emmeryse said from the living-room

"What do you mean? We went through them all." Sawyer said looking at her

Emmeryse picked up the wrapped box, "What about this one?"

"Was that there before?" Sawyer walked over

"There's no tag on it." Emmeryse looked around for a card that could've fallen off.

There was no card. Sawyer opened it, finding a new camera lens. She was surprised and began to look everywhere for a card that could've been missed. Alex called over and told them he hadn't seen a card when unloading the presents.

After dinner, Sawyer's bridesmaids helped unpack all the presents and put them away. We had plenty of dishes and pots and pans thanks to Mama and her side of the family. We also received plenty of towels. The boys and I headed out to the garage to put stuff away out there. Three of my groomsmen decided they were gonna build the grill that we had been gifted while I tinkered with my truck. Alex was helping organize my tools that the guys kept un-organizing.

"You going to tell her that it was you who got her the lens?" Alex asked

"Not plannin' on it." I smirked

"You know she's going to figure it out." He rolled his eyes and I shrugged

The guys finished the grill and were getting ready to leave. My hands had grease marks on them so I was the one they sent in to tell the girls that they were leaving for the night. I walked in through the side door in the garage and into the house. All the girls turned to look at me as I stood at the bottom of the stairs.

"The guys an' I just finished up, an' they're about ready to leave. I'd give you a better 'goodbye' but I don't think you wanna get any of this on you." I showed my hands palm up.

"It's ok. We were just finishing up our conversation." One of the bridesmaids said as the others smiled and giggled to themselves.

I looked towards Sawyer, obviously confused, "Imma go take a shower." I said

After taking my shower, there came a little tapping on the door. Sawyer opened it as I pulled my shirt on. I ran downstairs to grab something to eat while she got cleaned up. Once I rinsed of my plate, I ran back upstairs where Sawyer was sitting in bed, hair wrapped up in a towel, scrolling through her phone. I sat in the middle of the bed and pulled her legs onto my lap, rubbing her legs.

"You remember the first time you set foot in here?" I asked

"You mean after your father-in-law smashed the headlight of your truck?" She asked

"Yeah. But do you remember what I told you?" I asked

She thought for a minute, "You said a lot back then."

"In the bathroom there is where I promised to find you a better place." I said

"Well I think you went above an' beyond." Sawyer smiled, "C'mon. I know you're tired too and I wanna cuddle."

Couldn't argue with that.
